As a Certified Canine Massage Therapist, my services will assist in the efforts to manage the many aliments that our pets suffer from. As in human medicine, massage therapy added to treatment plans can be very beneficial. The art of canine massage therapy employs two separate styles of massage. The first is sports massage, which are specifically designed strokes or movements used to loosen or break up muscular adhesions.These adhesions may be caused by trauma or overexerted muscles and can lead to improper shortening and lengthening of the muscles, thereby causing pain and discomfort. The second massage style is Classic Swedish massage, which is used to energize or invigorate the body by increasing blood circulation and promote faster healing time. So whether you’re pet is recovering from surgery, suffering from arthritis or any other aliment that hinders their mobility or quality of life, we can assist them through this tough course. In the end, our pets are there for us through our tough times, let’s give back and help them during theirs.
