Private lessons are being held at either Chesapeake City Park, a soon to be determined Suffolk location, as well as, my own location here in Franklin.

PSA‼️

We are now officially in our last month on the west coast! We have appreciated each and every client for their support of DK9 and trusting myself with their dog’s training and care.

We will be making the trek to the east coast on July 1st and hopefully up and running in Virginia Beach in August/September timeframe.

We are looking forward to being back home and seeing some familiar faces!

Trust the process! Training isn’t linear, it’s hard, it requires dedication, it requires commitment, and it requires you to view the dog in front of you.
A year ago Vulcan needed long line pressure to get over the fear of the dock. No amount of cheering, toys, me getting in the pool, etc was getting him in. So, knowing my dog and what he can handle mentally I opted to use leash pressure to help him learn he’s going to be ok. Fast forward a few months later, he started jumping around 16-17’ consistently and always quietly waiting his turn on the dock. Fast forward again to now, he’s SO pumped to be on the dock, waiting his turn is now full of barking and tugging to get to the dock, and he received 3 new PRs over one weekend. 23’3, 23’10, and 24’5.
Know that pressure isn’t bad, we all go through pressure in life, so why do we shelter our dogs from it?
