Bitter sweet, I finally got my girl home. Ordered her OVER 2 YEARS AGO 😔 from a very well known custom sculpturer. Excuse after excuse on why she couldn't get it done yet. Last year I even offered to pay her even more to get it done before she got busy with show season.
The final result, though beautiful, isn't even what I ordered. Instead of sculpting it she 3d printed it. And only after I finally got pissy & told her to give me my damn money back. She's a small business & I won't throw any names out, but I'm sure the bulldog community knows who it is. It really disheartens me, but at least I finally have her home 💔

Home needed, owner passed away. Please share
Lilly is a sweet, kind of shy, 10 year old, spayed American bulldog. She does not act her age & should have quite a few good years left (her bloodline is known to live into their teens as old as 19!) She does not do well with little dogs or cats. She was non reactive when slowly introduced to our American Bulldog, very uninterested in her. But I'm sure if it was a hyped up dog she would have reacted badly. So she should do good with another easy going calm medium-large dog. No younger kids, she was not raised with them, so I feel she would be best with kids who are old enough to respect boundaries.
She is trained very well, retired Champion show dog.
I can arrange transportation if you are not local.

Old lady Rain will be finishing her final days here, whether it be a few months or a year. The vet did not have a good prognosis and we've decided to just keep her comfortable. Along with the mammary gland tumor, she has fluid surrounding her heart. So unfortunately we believe the tumor spread to her heart. For now other than a bit of difficulty breathing when she is excited, she is not having any discomfort. And we will be bringing her into the house after this weekend, since we won't be home Saturday.

What a hectic ass weekend! Ante broke the bank this time! In typical bulldog fashion, she damn near killed herself & barely showed there was anything wrong. She was still eating, but did not have a true bulldog appetite (you know, where they act like you starve them every single day!) she would still play around, but I could tell there was still something off.
We found a large mass below her rib cage and feeling on it did not cause any reaction from her. Vet pulled fluid from her abdomen that was literally nothing but puss. Opened her up & found a wooden skewer (still in one piece)!! 😲 A week ago she swallowed a chicken kabob WHOLE! The skewer went through the stomach & was making its way through the muscle. The vet could not believe how bad it was & how little symptoms she was showing. I just told her that's bulldogs for you! 🙄
3 days later she is home, to a new house she's never been to. In between taking her from vet A to vet B & getting the new coati baby delivered (that same day!) we managed to move into the new house. We picked her up from the urgent care Vet in Dover at 8pm, finally get back to the new house to realize we don't have hot water 😫🤦‍♀️ oh & to top it off we are all fighting a damn head cold

Our official farewell....
Most of you know we've had a number of hardships & a few heartbreaks the past few years. We have said numerous times we were done, but the love & support from our extended family, AKA previous puppy owners, gave us a bit of hope & passion back. We had hopes to breed Maggie one last time, given we had 8 or 9 previous pup owners waiting for new pups from us. But life had different plans.
Maggie had an annoying mole on her ear that she constantly broke open, so I took her in to have it removed. Doing so most likely saved her life. A small mammary gland tumor was found, that turned out cancerous. Luckily it was found early & has not spread. It was removed with clear margins & other than the occasional follow up, she is all clear. But of course that puts any plans for puppies to an end.
I believe everything happens for a reason and though I'm sad to say there will no longer be any puppies from us, I am just happy that my girl is healthy & loving life.
I'm very sorry to those who were hoping for pups from us and I will certainly be here to point you in the right direction. I will no longer be posting to this account, but I will still monitor it & keep in touch with all our "extended family" 💞
