TT Canines

TT Canines TTC based in North Yorkshire, we specialise in working with even the most challenging of dogs.

At TTCanines we believe no dog is beyond changing its behaviour for the better, and we start in teaching people to understand their dogs and help them gain the best from their companions in a way that is mutually beneficial by developing the respect and co-operation that produces a solid team. We achieve this with our TriCanine System of bonding and learning.

Strengthen Your Bond & Boost Training!

Want a happier, more engaged, and well-balanced dog ?
Cooperative play is a key part !

By tapping into your dog’s natural instincts—like seeking, chasing, and tugging—you’re not just playing, you’re creating a deep, fulfilling connection that enhances trust, teamwork, and training success.

Here’s why cooperative play matters:

Strengthens Your Bond –
Build mutual trust and teamwork with fun, interactive activities.

Promotes Decompression –
Reduce stress and help your dog unwind through structured play-based enrichment.

Fulfils Genetic Drives –
Satisfy their natural hunting instincts through structured, engaging play.

Boosts & Balances Drive –
Teach your dog when to engage and when to settle for a well-rounded learner.

New Year, New Challenges, Get involved, it’s open to any breed 👍🎉

Try something new this year? Gain your next level? The Working Tests are great stepping stones towards a BH, or just fun titles where you and your dog can achieve your goals.

The working tests are now titles to be recognized by the BRSDC, the working tests offers owners to take part in basic entry level tests where the handler and their dog get to showcase and test their ability and potential to train & work together in basic obedience routines.

Entry form will be available near the time.
Any questions, please ask, please feel free to share.

💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥NEW HOME STILL NEEDED💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥Ruby is a 2 1/2yr old Malinois in need of a new home. Her owners were struggling to provide Ruby with appropriate outlets and so struggled to deal with her over stimulated responses to every day events. Ruby is people and dog social, her frustration and their lack of ‘know how’, lead to excessive frustration, resulting in bruises and broken skin. None of which Ruby has done with me.The owners were working on this and making progress, however, due to ill health the family could no longer achieve this, so I agreed to take Ruby with me till i find her the right home.💥 she comes with free training support for the new owners to carry on building on Ruby’s training.💥Ruby is not suitable for any sort of security / police / prison type work etc. She does however, require a comment to her training and activity. As stated , While with me, She has shown herself to be people / dog friendly, infact she is very excited at the prospect of getting a stroke from the people she has met so far, however, this is part of the problem, in that if she is allowed to get over stimulated, she struggles to self regulate her behaviour. Ruby needs a relatively calm home and if any other dog is in the home, that dog must be under the control of the owner, so as not to constantly push Ruby above her threshold. I would say young children would not be good for her due to their unpredictability and lots of running around. The new owners need to understand that they are taking on a dog that needs calm handling, clear structure, and managing at first, and lots of patience to bring out the best in Ruby. For someone looking to Rehome a rescue Mali, in my opinion, Ruby is a good dog to take [email protected]
