We are deeply saddened to share with you that our dear friend Steve passed away suddenly last week. Steve was a wonderful man who cared so much for all life around him, and of course all of the animals of Kalymnos. Steve’s animal welfare group will be continuing, and we will post an update when we have a better idea on what that will look like.

Latest Rescue needing Serious eye Operations.
Thank You Nomiki for trapping this cat after many days of trying.
Saved from going completely blind.

Before and After Treatment of recent rescues.
When out trapping for sterilisation we find many sick and injured Cats/Kittens.
We have to pay for treatment as our support is only for Sterilisation Grants.
Thank You everyone who has donated and made treatment possible.

Our Sterilisation Program continues with Renewed Grants.
A Huge Thank to GAR ( Greek Animal Rescue ) and GCWS ( Greek Cat Welfare Society) Both UK charities.
For their continuing support for the stray cats of Kálymnos and for enabling us to sterilise another 110 cats.
Sterilisation increases the lifespan of the cats, enables us to create Healthy cat colonies and reduces the Suffering of unwanted and often sick kittens.

Rescued Blind Kitten joined rescued road accident Kitten with Pat and Brian. Good Friends.
Now enjoying a Safe and Happy Life.
Woody with 3 legs also lives with them.

This is Batman ( making signal too) born of a rescued stray mother and living happily in a safe colony.
Until a visiting Aggressive Male attacked him!
Huge Abscess infection and much pain caused a Vet Visit to Lance it and Antibiotics to cure.
Now recovering well and the Aggressive Male to be sterilised SOON!

Latest Rescue found yesterday in Very Poor Condition— Weak, Sick but Hopeful- we will see.
Thank You Everybody who supports and enables sick animals like him to receive Care and Treatment.

Maria found this cat in a Very bad condition and despite veterinary care and medicine unfortunately she did not recover.
However she did not pass alone without help as many do.
In desperate times we try our best to help and feed the stray animals of Kalymnos .
