Dogs communicate through body language
So the best way we can understand how they're feeling is to understand dog body language. We will never know exactly how our dog is feeling but the better we are at understanding the science of how dogs think, learn and communicate the better relationship we'll have with them, and them with us
Don't ever guess when it comes to dog behaviors. Dont project your human views. Don't assume anything
Get educated
I'm still learning about dog behavior. Every day I learn from the top trainers so I can truly be a better human for dogs
Dogs never need a shock, prong or choke collar
They don't need you to be alpha
They don't need a pack leader
They don't need corrections
They need a human who's more determined to learn about them rather than force the dog to learn about us

Before assuming your dog has " behavior problems" first ask: are their needs being met?
Are they getting outside every day for exercise and lots of sniff time?
Are they eating a nutrient rich diet full of fresh awesome foods?
Are they truly understood for who they are and allowed to live this way?
Are they working on calmer more confident behavior with you?
We'd have less problems too when we're making our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health our number one priority

"Do you feed your dog 'people food' "? is one of the most asked, and least liked question I get
Of course my dog gets "people food" because what I eat, for the majority of my diet, is high quality, organic , nutrient rich food.
So Mingus eats in the same way I do
Ive been feeding her raw for a while now. She always getting raw egg, berries, sardines and kefir in her bowl. I rotate her animal proteins often
She never eats kibble
When you make health and wellness a priority for yourself you will make it a priority for your dog because people tend to project their habits, beliefs and lifestyle on their dog
When you make exercise and learning a calmer more confident behavior you can share this with your dog
When you make being yourself and thriving in this , you can share that with your dog
I think having a dog and learning from them, learning *with* them makes us better people❤️🐾
