After a flurry of enquiries and bookings this month I have made the difficult decision to not take on any new guests. I can’t keep up with the messages and don’t want to lose the personal service I have worked so hard at over the last few years. I’m really sorry and I wish I could help you all as I know how hard it is to find a one to one home boarder. I will keep you posted of any other boarders on here and hope you find someone lovely. 🐶😊

Hi. I thought I would give you a little insight into The Dog House. I live in an apartment close to Hollycroft Park which is so lovely for dog walking. I have a workshop on Factory Road where I make soft furnishings and my little house guests come with me and enjoy looking out of the window and barking at anyone who walks by! I used to do the initial meet and greet in my home but I have changed that to a meet and greet in the park which works well initially. If we are all happy I am more than happy for you to come and look at my home so you can be confident your dog will be happy with me. Here are a few images of what my home is like including one where my current house guest Archie managed to get in on the action.

I am getting really booked up now for this year and only have a limited amount of spaces left.

The first day a little house guest arrives it is busy. They don’t know what is happening or if they will see their owners again. So it takes a few days to settle in. Then we get a little routine going. Walk to the shop. Stand guard. Walk home for lunch. Chill at night in front of the tv. Then it’s time for them to go home. That is my hardest part because then I miss them. But I am lucky because they come back for another holiday. Tonight I am missing Lucy ❤️
