We were so saddened to hear of the passing of one of our most treasured and inspirational volunteers, Peggy Anne Diefenderfer. Peggy and Mr. Chips were such a big part of the Paws with Patience family and loved by so many! Our deepest sympathy to Peggy’s family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. ❤️‍🩹

PeggyAnne Diefenderfer of Lower Makefield, Pa., died peacefully on June 14, 2024, after a long illness. She was 83 years old. Summer Celebration Adoption Event

Monday, July 10th through Saturday, July 15th we will be hosting a multi-day adoption event from 10am to 3pm daily with reduced adoption fees for all dogs and cats in our care!

👉No appointment needed!

We HIGHLY recommend completing our adoption application prior to attending the adoption event, that will make things go smoothly on our end! Visit https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LCR/Dog to find our application.

All members of the household involved in the decision must be present. Any current household dogs and children are REQUIRED for dog adoptions. These protocols are in place to ensure we are making the right match for your family and our dogs!

Reduced Adoption Fees:
Dog over 50lbs or 50+ days at rescue - $50
Dogs under 50lbs and Puppies - $250
Adult Cats- $25
Kittens- $75

We have three litters of moms and puppies as well as other puppies all coming available for adoption in the next three weeks. Which means over 30 puppies and many adults that will be available for adoption soon. Here are Tallulah's puppies that are now 7 weeks old. 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS LOVE...

Day 12
Today we come back home to the therapy dogs at my local library. Some of these beauties have passed on, others are just beginning their work. I am incredibly blessed to know them. To watch them at their task. An array of personalities, they all have one thing in common. These dogs don't hold on to pain, they don't dwell in sorrow. They see the beauty in each moment. They feel everything, whatever is going on with a child, they sense it and respond with love. What a good lesson.

They sit quietly, they listen. Truly listen. To the being before them. Their gift is their presence, their unconditional love. What a good lesson.
