Thinking today on Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day of the friends I’ve lost along the way. The toughest part of this job is splitting my heart into the pieces that they take with them when they go, but I know that one day I’m going to have the most loving and excited pack of animals greeting me at the heavenly gates 🪽 I’m so grateful to have known and loved these sweet souls (and those not pictured) and I will remember them and our memories and the impact they had on me forever 🐾🌈

PSA 🚨 I saw this info graphic posted today in my pet sitting group along with a story about how a bag of chips had been left out when the family left their house and their dog had suffocated trying to stick his snout into the bag for the chips 😭 I wanted to post this as a reminder to never leave any sort of bag, including grocery bags with the handles, out where your pet could get into it. I also have seen horror stories of animals strangling themselves in bra straps that had been left on doorhandles to dry, and on window blind strings. I hate to post about such awful stories but I just wanted to remind everyone to take a quick walk around your house before leaving and before going to sleep to make sure everything that your pet could get into is put away!! An indoor camera for your pet is always a great idea too to check in on them 🐾

Mako captured the heart of everyone he met with his soulful, kind eyes and goofball personality. He loved everyone and everything with a boundless joy that didn’t dissipate even a little bit throughout his sickness. He is the definition of a good boy. I will miss you so, so much my sweet smiley Mako, it is an honor to be your Auntie Han and I love you forever 💙 and to his parents, my best friends, who drove him hours round trip to the vet every week for a year and spent thousands and thousands to keep him as healthy as possible for as long as possible, you guys are the best parents in the world and gave him the best life and he loved you guys so much. I’m so sorry that your world lost such a bright light 🥺💔
