Meet Doxy. This sweet guy was found wandering around a park visitors' center. Despite efforts, no one ever came forward to claim him. Doxy gets along with other dogs. We do not know what he thinks of cats. He is estimated to be 2 yrs old and a nice sized 38 pounds.

Shep is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He has lovely red tick coloring on his face, chest and legs. Shep is about 8 months old and 41 pounds.

HOPATCONG, NJ

Rosie is a little doll baby. This little love bug just wants to be with her person and be in your lap. She gets along with other dogs but we do not know how she feels about cats. Rose had been left with a woman back in April. The woman had some health issues and tripped over Rosie and fell. The woman was heartbroken to give Rosie up but felt it was best to find Rosie a better home to be cared for. Rosie is about 4 years old and a tad overweight at 20 pounds.

Rain and her siblings Storm & Cloud, were left at a kill shelter. They are all super sweet and friendly and so the staff reached out to us to help find these adorable, fluffy babies their forever families. They are good with other dogs. We do not know what they think of cats. They are playful and happy and will probably grow to be big dogs so early training is a must. They are about 3-4 months old. Rain weighs 27 pounds.

ADOPTABLE DOG: SHAGGY #2
HOPATCONG, NJ

Shaggy # 2 is looking and feeling AMAZING! He did suffer previously from a life of neglect and wasn't fed anything but cat food. As a result his skin and coat were not healthy and he felt terrible. Since, being rescued he has been vetted, gotten proper nutrition and now his skin is no longer itchy and coat is lush. He is currently on prescription diet to help keep him well. Shaggy # 2 is a happy guy and gives affectionate very enthusiastically to his people. He is a chill guy, who takes multiple naps during the day, plays with his toys and never let's his foster forget mealtime! :)

ADOPTABLE PUPPY: HARPER
HOPATCONG, NJ

Harper is just a delightful puppy with a great disposition. She is super sweet and friendly and so smart. Harper already has the basic understanding of sit, down & stay (just needs continued reinforcement with her new family). She gets along with everyone - kids, other dogs and cats too! She knows how to use a doggy door and will sleep in bed with you. This pretty girl prefers to be in the same room as you, but is content chewing on a toy in the other room as well. Harper is a typical playful puppy and into everything but her attention is easily redirected back to a toy. She loves to play in water as labs tend to do and her antics will have you laughing. She is a bit clumsy right now as she has to keep getting used to her legs as they grow. Harper is 4 months old and 31 pounds.

She does not climb to run away, only to be with her people. Tetra is about 5 years old and 55 pounds.

I have perfect housemanners, I am housebroken, sleep through the night, don’t bark and walk easy on the leash. I love to meet other dogs and little humans on my walks but I prefer not to live with them, because I value a quiet environment and don’t care for too much action.My favorite pastimes are long walks at a leisurely pace and taking naps on a cosy bed.

ADOPTABLE DOG: KIARA
HOPATCONG. NJ

Kiara was dumped at a friend's house and the owner never came back for her. The friend was unable to keep her so surrendered her to rescue. Kiara is really a great little dog. She is a little shy and picks a human and stays close to them. She’s very sweet and would love to become part of a family. She has been around an infant and a 12 year old child. Kiara rides really well in a car and will sit or lay down in the passenger seat. She likes smaller dog but big dogs scare her. People wearing any kind of hats also scare her and she will growl. We do not know what she thinks about cats. She is about a year old and weighs 25 lb.

This guy literally has NO interest. :( He is affectionately called "BIGGIE" by his foster parents because he is kind of on the bigger side of mini poodle mix. He is a ultra happy guy and so thankful to be rescued, safe and well cared for. He loves his soft beds or the couch, sleeps most of the day, gets along with other pets, many need extra potty breaks, but will go on a wee wee pads, loves his food and bonds quickly to his person. He has sensitive skin and eats prescription diet but after a lifetime of neglect he deserves the very best care now. He is non-shedding and an all around easy guy. Spread the word!
