Meet Speckles, looking shy in this photo, though she is quite playful. Speckles is about a 1 year old chihuahua who enjoys being held. She's only 8 lbs. She likes other dogs, especially big dogs. She's good on leash and in the car. She doesn't like being outside, only to do her business. If Speckles sounds like your kind of pup, please email [email protected] about her.

Meet our newest sweet baby - her name is Dahlia. She is around 12 years old and only 40lbs - she needs to gain weight. Our best guess is that Dahlia has been bred a bazillion times throughout her life and as a result she has multiple tumors on both mammary chains. Even with all of those tumors, Dahlia has a fabulous disposition. She loves other dogs and she LOVES her people. Dahlia just wants to be next to you.

Due to the number and size of the tumors, and the stages they are in - some are ulcerated and others look like they may burst soon - and since she has been suffering with these for a long time, SURGERY IS THIS MONDAY, 1/20. Dahlia will have both mammary chains removed, which is the most logical solution, but not a simple surgery. She will also finally be spayed.

The estimate for Dahlia's SURGERY IS $2,000. We have already spent $600+ to prep her for surgery with tests and xrays, to make sure she has no internal tumors - and fortunately there are none.... If you can help us help Dahlia by donating towards her surgery invoice, we would sincerely appreciate it.
