Adopted 🥰
Check out adorable Buster Brown!
Buster is a Lion-Lop bun, about 4 years old. He was surrendered to the rescue by a family who felt they couldn’t give him the attention he deserves. Buster is friendly and enjoys hopping around his big indoor enclosure. He also likes some outside playtime on nice weather days. Buster is good with other animals, having grown up with dogs. He uses his litter box faithfully and does great when free roaming. Buster enjoys a good snuggle and is comfortable being held. He’s already neutered and ready to find a bunny-experienced family who will be committed to his care. If you are interested in meeting him, apply to boomersbestbuddies.com

911 for Fanta, who is such a good boy. He just completed 203 K9 Training School, and only has a few days to find a foster or adopter.
He gets along with other dogs. He is excellent in a kennel or a crate. He did very well with older children. He's very lovable and affectionate.
He would love a home with a fenced in yard, where he can run and play.
If you are interested in Fanta, please contact Tristan Kiekel, who is working with the Saint Bernard Rescue Foundation of New Jersey 203 868 9847.

When Brady came back to us as a result of a large cruelty investigation, it seemed likely that we'd have to make a euthanasia decision fairly quickly. A week after he came back to us (he'd been adopted out in 2014, shortly after our rescue was founded), we discovered that in addition to all his other problems (2 tick-borne illnesses, spondylosis and osteoarthritis, severely emaciated, blind, deaf, as-yet undiagnosed neurologic issues), he had advanced kidney disease. He didn't do much more than sleep, was disoriented and emotionally unresponsive, and was so weak he couldn't get into a standing position from lying down on his own.
We took a communal deep breath, and said to ourselves "all we can do is try". We wanted to give him a chance to at least soak up some love and good care, while we clarified whether his condition could be stabilized.
Well!
Brady's now been with us for well over a month - for most of that time with a wonderful, committed, experienced medical foster. He's most definitely not "out of the woods" in any sense of that phrase, but he's made progress (please remember, he's 15 years old, so progress is a relative thing at that age, and with his issues).
When the kidney disease was re-diagnosed (he had been diagnosed with it in 2021 but his owner did not follow through with the recommended treatment), we started the treatment. He receives subcutaneous fluids (at first daily, now down to every other day). and is on a special prescription kidney diet and a phosphate binder for the kidney disease. He takes an anti-inflammatory drug and pain reliever for the spondylosis and arthritis. H
Zippy is an awesome lil’ pup who was rescued from a local shelter. She’s good with other dogs and likes to be close to her person. She will be spayed and fully vetted prior to adoption. Apply boomersbestbuddies.com.
