I was found running the streets in Detroit and turned into the River Rouge Animal Shelter. I was there for several weeks and everyone I met fell in love with me. I won FREE training from Walsh'sK9 Training. A woman named Miss Jenn fell in love with me and wanted to be my foster mom. She and her rescue Heavenly Paws of Michigan sprung me from River Rouge and I got to go live in Hartland. I have gon
e through training and have learned to live inside a house with a family......which I LOVE by the way. It took me a while to get used to being inside because I had spent my whole life outside, but I'm a pro now! Even riding in a car was sooper scary at first because welll....I had never done it. I was even scared to walk in a park, but not anymore! My foster mom and trainer have shown me how awesome it is to be part of a family! I love people, no matter their age - small kids and big ones too! I had never known love before and when I first came to live at Miss Jenn's I was so excited to have love that I would get to excited. However I'm a good student and I have come along way with my manners and focus. I love learning new things and meeting new people! I am very playful, in fact sometimes a little too playful. I'm quite muscular as you can see by my photos, and when I play....I play strongly and sometimes rough! I'm still working to control my energy, but I"m learning! My favorite thing in the world is just to hang out with my foster family in the house! Boy oh boy do I like toys!! I have a serious side too.... I consider myself a philosopher of sorts, so many things in the world to ponder. I am looking for my furrever family. I know they are out there! Because I am a rough player, it would be best if I were the only dog in the house.....and no cats either. They are cute, but I don't want to live with them. If you would like to meet me in person to see if I would fit into your family, please email Kelly at [email protected]
In the meantime I plan to share my days with you here on my page - Snoopy's Tail.
