IT DOESN"T matter WHY it's being done or how it was done. The definition doesn't say it's a rescues place to judge, accuse, bully etc. Our rescue is here to make it a personal experience, make you feel human. We are a partner in a very difficult time of your life if you you need to rehome your pet, we want to suppl

y compassion and knowledge. That's what makes the impossible possible! PLEASE PLEASE whatever you do, don't leave your pet in the street it makes it so hard for them and can even run them finding a furever home. We will do the best that we can but you do have to give us time The First Step Rescue is also foster home based, small dog rescue. We are in no hurry to place these dogs, We just want the perfect family for them to live the rest of their lives. The adoption process consists of an application, home visit, and an adoption fee
Most of the dogs will be spayed/neutered,(depends on age and health). All will be vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped and have received any other necessary medical care. We do local adoptions, within 35 miles of Downers Grove Illinois. You can find all pets we have available for adoption on: RescueMe.Org or Petfinder.com or AdoptaPet.com

A dog not for most people, not sure if in the states yet.
This is a dog that rescues really need to research themselves prior to rehoming, they take a special home.

Coyote attack in California, they are pretty damn lucky! Another case where a fence was jumped. I'm assuming they thought their German Shepherd would protect their little white dog but the German Shepherd was afraid and ran. Watch the video closely and it was edited too. The shepherd did nothing for the little white dog,the little white dog stood its own ground against multiple Coyotes. The running german shepherd was only a running confusing distraction for the coyotes that allowed the small dog to get away.

My family is super happy with my new family, as hard it was to let go all will be good I'm safe! Photos will be shared by all!

We want to say thank you to everyone and your interest in Rebel. We have had a tremendous amount of inquiries so it's a process.
We are slowly going through our inquires, setting up some meet and greets and we will go from there.

Problem is I live in a condo with my family and the complex has told all residents they can no longer have a dog. only cats. This is all because OF OTHER DOG OWNERS not cleaning up after their dogs. My family did search for a new place but there are none that are in the same school district so sadly they have no choice. They tried to hide me with no luck, someone reported me. PLEASE NO RUDE COMMENTS the family tried and now they are participating in the rehome

Guy vs Coyote
Go out with your dog, I know I don't have this guy's strength, but who knows! Use caution now during coyote mating season. Your dog may not be lost.... Sadly, his life could be painfully over.
Didn't occur in Illinois

I agree! Way to many dogs on harnesses that should never be in one!
You're dog NEVER needs to meet another dog!
Yes, this happened in China and yes luckily even after the small breed dogs owner who was bit, who was sadly pulling on her dogs leash both did survive the attack.
Harnesses do not control a dog!

See how quick this occurred? If the cat did not intervene that family would have thought their dog just got lost.
Look at the damage as a result of the attack, the dog almost lost its leg
This can happen to you go out with your dog it has a better shot.
