It makes me so happy every morning to see Bob climb up on his brand new, custom built, Des-Res, basking platform. It’s given him the entire pond back as free swimming space too! It’s such an upgrade from the previous floating platform, I’m made up! And I’m pretty sure Bob is too.

I've been meaning to introduce you to my water brother, Bob, who moved in with my humans when his original human could no longer look after him.

He has a luxury indoor pond which i used to be jealous of but my humans have replaced my old indoor garden with a lovely new one with its own house.

Here are a few pictures of me in my new garden and Bob in his pond. Aren't we the luckiest Testudines. 🐢

I've been under the weather since it got too hot, so today my humans spruced up my enclosure.... got new edibles (pansies, viola, sedum and Apple mint) plus new top soil... I had a bit of a look around and tonight I've decided to sleep alfresco under my tree... If you look hard you can just see my bum.... off to the tortoise vet on Tuesday 🏥

Well it's been quite a while since I posted.

The life of a tortoise is a quiet one as you might imagine.

Today I'm sharing a personal milestone though as I have finally started to use my back legs when walking... until recently I only dragged them but today my humans managed to capture these pictures of me.... no denying it now...

It's taken three years but am so proud of my progress x

I am very pleased with my indoor garden refresh... New pansies and prickly pear... not to mention lovely new leafy linin...
