After not posting for awhile, we're back--and going to meet with a new media/graphics company this week to bring some new stuff to Cosmic Canine Creations, LLC!

We're possibly looking at a new logo, new product labels--and (hopefully) FINALLY getting a website built!

We're also headed into our 7th farmer's market season this summer--and playing with some ideas for new treats!

TODAY IS THE LAST FARMER'S MARKET OF 2023!

I would like to shout out an enormous THANK YOU to all who have stopped by our booth this summer. Whether you purchased some of our yummy dog treats for your favorite pup--or just stopped by to say hello--we appreciate each and every one of you. Our customers (both human and canine) are the reasons we exist.

Look for some changes on the near horizon--all good, as we continue to grow.and evolve.

If you get a chance, stop by and say hello. We're here today until 7 pm.

BTW--Come see us at the Jamesport Brewing Company Harvest Party tomorrow (Saturday, 9/23) from 3 pm to 7 pm. We'll also be at the Ludington Octoberfest next Saturday, 9/30, in the James Street Plaza. Hope to see you!

HAPPY (ALMOST) FALL!!!

Summer went by in the blink of an eye (😥), the kids are back in school, and the air is a little cooler...

Which means that the end of the Ludington Farmers Market is coming up. We're at the market today, but will be in Chicago next weekend for a wedding. The last Market is on the 22nd, and we'll be there.

I did want to let everyone know that we have fewer treats today than we usually do (although we still have a good selection). The reason for this is because my oldest brother was visiting us this week. He lives in Mexico 🇲🇽, and I hadn't seen him in two years, so I really wanted to spend time with him. We had a really nice visit. 🌞

Anyway, we'd LOVE to see you at the Market today. We're there from 3 to 7 pm.

Fall may be coming soon, but we at Cosmic Canine Creations, LLC will still be at the Ludington Farmers Market until September 22nd, selling the BEST. DOG. TREATS. EVER.
(A caveat: we won't be here on September 15th as we'll be in Chicago for a family wedding.)

Next weekend will be the last for our fan-fave Star treats, but...

The Ludington Farmer's Market will open for the season on Friday, May 26th, from 3-7 pm.

I just noticed an old URL for a website in my contact info. Please know that this is a broken link and is not active. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

I actually have been trying for about 4 years now to find a website person who is competent, reasonably priced--and RELIABLE. I've had two less-than-favorable experiences and don't really want it to happen again.

I'll keep everyone posted on further site developments.

Good morning!

I just wanted to give all of you a heads-up that our product prices will be increasing this year, but probably not until spring.

I didn't want to have to do this, so it's been a struggle, but our prices have not increased since October 2019, and as everyone knows, costs for EVERYTHING have gone up over the past year or so. (For example--my product labels used to cost us $12.00 for 30. Now they're $32.00 for 30--a nearly threefold jump.)

Pricing will be increasing by approximately 10 percent. Again, I'm basically up against the wall on this if I want to continue to make the best treats possible for my many canine customers.

The holidays are over, and we're into a new year...so what's next??

Drum roll, please...🥁🥁🥁🥁

VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

Remember those fun little candy 'conversation hearts' that we all loved as kids?

Well...we make those for dogs!!

They're not candy, but they're our fan-favorite base cookie dough, cut in a big heart shape (think the size of your palm), covered in pink icing, and then decorated with fun dog-related messages in white icing. We can also put your pup's name on the cookie instead of a message if you like. (A little caveat here: if your dog has a REALLY long name, like the youngest in our pack, Independence Freedom, we would use a nickname instead, such as Indy in our case.)

Merry Christmas!

We apologize for not posting in so long--this thing called 'life' intervenes--but we wanted you to know that we're still out here, creating doggie delicacies for your favorite Fido. (Sorry, I like to use alliteration. 😀)

Although it's almost December, we can still accommodate holiday orders if we have them by December 10th. We can't guarantee after that, especially if the order is to be shipped out of the northern Michigan area.

That being said, we would like to recap what we do here at Cosmic Canine Creations, LLC in case we have new viewers. We've been in existence since October 2013 (9+ years!) and we bake yummy treats for dogs.

Our treats are always made from human-grade ingredients--you could actually eat 'em yourself (true confession here--I've tasted every single one), but your dog might not be too pleased if you did this.

Secondly, we avoid wheat, corn, and soy for a few reasons. First, these are all common allergens for dogs. Second, they're usually GMOs (genetically modified organisms--kinda like the Frankensteins of the food world). Third, these ingredients can cause an inflammatory response in dogs, which leads to a whole host of other health issues.

Third, we use as many organic ingredients as we possibly can--again, no GMOs here. Organics are better for all of us.

Last (but not least), we have been licensed by the Michigan Department of Agriculture since our formation. We have to jump through a bunch of hoops to maintain our licensing, so you know you're getting a high-quality product from us.

We sell primarily at the Ludington Farmers' Market, but we welcome orders through FB or DM. This coming summer will mark our fifth season at the Farmers' Market.

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!

I think I've posted this in the past, but it bears mentioning again...

Many of you know that we closed our storefront on South James Street at the end of April 2020. 😥

BUT...we're still making and selling treats from our home address on North Delia Street im Ludington (across from the sheriff department).

We're crazy-busy during the summer because we sell at the Ludington Farmer's Market every Friday afternoon--and we're entering our 4th year doing this--but we keep a limited supply of treats in our freezer in the baking shed.

If you need a treat (or two), please call us at 248-318-6586.

If you want something special--like a birthday cake (yes, we still do those)--we require 3 days' notice, as these are custom.
