PERMANENT Old Dog Haven FOSTER HOME NEEDED:
(in W. Washington state, Spokane or Portland, OR only)

Ricky is a Chihuahua mix (perhaps with Italian greyhound), neutered male, thin at 14 pounds. This little guy has been with family members since his person passed, but now needs a home quickly. He's used to lots of company and living with dogs and cats; he is very shy when meeting new dogs but then likes to play. He LOVES going out for walks and is very well behaved on them; he's not very barky. And he loves cuddling under blankets especially with a person. He's had regular vet care in the last couple of years with no big red flags though of course he will need another dental. It's time for a stable home with lots of attention and cuddles!

Ricky sounds like he's going to make a great addition to a home! As an Old Dog Haven dog, his vet bills are covered by our organization (thanks to donors), now we need to find a home to send him to! LOSE A DOG?
* Almost every day this past
week, more dogs came into MCACC than were adopted. 53 stray dogs came into the West shelter on Thursday. Right now, we do not have any more kennel space at West, and we have only a handful of kennels available at East. Help us find the owners for these lost pups!

Why can’t we all support a nationwide mandatory lost/found pet alert/site? Searching thousands of sites and locations is awful

Join us this Saturday, April 29th at the Arizona Science Center for our Fix Adopt Save Adoption Event. Come find Your Fur-Ever Friend! HALO Animal Rescue, Maricopa County Animal Care & Control Arizona Humane Society and Arizona Animal Welfare League will have adoptable dogs onsite with a $100 adoption fee each.

🐾Dogs for adoption will be spay/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations and microchipped.
🐾The adoption process remains the same and paperwork will need to be completed during the adoption process.
🐾Photos of some of the available dogs will be posted as time draws near. :)
