Our sweet boy Teddy has passed away. 💔

He fought so hard, and we are heartbroken to share that his little body just couldn’t hold on any longer. He was deeply loved and cared for every step of the way.

Thank you to everyone who donated toward his care, sent kind words, or simply kept him in your thoughts. Your support meant the world to him—and to us.

Rest easy, Teddy. You were so loved.

🥲***End of Watch for K-9 Kosa***🥲
We are deeply saddened by the loss of K-9 Kosa who passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2025.
Kosa was 10 years old and scheduled to retire on June 30th. He had served with MCSO since 2016 with his partner, Sgt. Garylle James, by his side the whole way.
Thank you for your service, you will be remembered.

Mikayla was just 29.
A rescuer. A voice for the voiceless. A woman who gave everything to save animals and still faced cruelty, especially from fellow rescuers.

Despite therapy, medication, and her deep love for what she did, the bullying and online harassment became too much.

💔 No one should be bullied for doing good.

She should still be here.

Please think before you speak.
Please remember that words carry weight, especially when someone’s already fighting battles we can’t see.
