Your Paws Only is a small collar company that opened because of the need for pet gear that was safe and functional, but also fashionable.

The Silver Moon Dog Collar is available in very limited quantities. This pattern has rich shades of blue with a silhouette of a wolf howling at a silver moon.

This pattern is available in 1 inch widths however a 1.5 inch width is possible with the understanding that the border will be wider but the pattern remains at one inch. Two webbing colors are offered for you to chose from black, and silver/grey.

We also have just enough for one or two of the Winter Run pattern.

Without question, year after year, the Rowhouse pattern is the most popular pattern in our Newfoundland and Labrador Collection.

When visiting downtown St. John’s, one cannot help but be struck by the unique look and feel of the iconic colorful row-houses, known locally as Jellybean Row. This collar is as unique as the houses themselves with a row of brightly colored houses on either a blue or pink background. With the recent news that Canada Post is now back on the job we have reactivated out Etsy shop and you can start placing your orders again through there. There will of course be a backlog with Canada Post so we will need to ask your patience once again as shipping may take a bit longer than normal over the next few weeks. If you are not familiar with our Christmas traditions these little characters will certainly spark conversation. Mummering, originating in the early 1800’s, is a Newfoundland and Labrador tradition of dressing in disguise and visiting from house to house during the 12 days of Christmas. This collar was designed for your pet to display our tradition. It features several “mummers” on a deep red background. Some choose to wear this pattern to celebrate Christmas, but others wear it all year to celebrate our unique culture.

Our Story

Your Paws Only is a small collar company that opened because of the need for pet gear that was safe and functional, but also fashionable. Located in beautiful Conception Bay South, Newfoundland and Labrador, our facility is surrounded by nature trails and the stunning, rugged shoreline of the North Atlantic.

Key to the quality of any pet supply are the components from which it is made and the skilled craftsmanship in its manufacture. We have thirteen years of experience in both researching and testing the best hardware in the industry, and refining our techniques to provide safe, beautiful products to our customers. Components are sourced only from North American suppliers. Our collars are made from 100% nylon webbing because of its superior strength and durability. It holds its color and is soft and gentle on your pet’s skin.

The clasps used in our collars are a mix of Nylon and Acetyl able to hold your strongest puller but still light and contoured for comfort. The hardware we use is either die-cast or welded to hold up to rough trail runs or a shoreline play. We use only industrial thread made for impact. We may be a small home-based business, but our equipment is industry-leading: industrial sewing machines designed for sewing for strength. This combination is what makes a collar as rugged and tough as our beautiful landscape.

We have designed and created many of our own patterns inspired by the culture of our province--a full NL Collection as unique as Newfoundland & Labrador itself, featuring flags, puffins and whales, mummers and more. However, we do not want to limit our customers’ choices, so we are constantly looking for new patterns designed by awarding-winning textile artists from all over the world. You will be delighted by our selection!
