Meet Coach, an 11-month-old puppy whose journey tugged at our hearts. When he arrived at St. Francis Pet Care, his worried owner recounted a familiar fear—she had lost a young dog to the Parvo virus before, and Coach's symptoms were eerily similar.

Thankfully, Coach had received his Parvo vaccine, allowing our dedicated doctors to focus on uncovering the true cause of his distress. After in-clinic treatment and an x-ray, the diagnosis was clear: a bowel obstruction. The only solution? A $2,500 surgery—far beyond his owner's means.

But in times of need, our community rallied. Thanks to our partnership with other clinics, like Community Care Veterinary Specialists, and generous private donors, Coach was able to receive the lifesaving surgery he needed.

His story is a testament to the power of community and compassion. We are stronger when we work together.

Looking back on Easter memories - Easter egg hunt for the dogs was so much fun…although many of the clients have moved and so have we, it warms my heart to remember all the fun we had together. Enrichment with your pet is so powerful, enjoy this beautiful day together!

Our Story

No Stress Pet Sitting developed in the Gainesville area from a growing community need for stress-free boarding alternatives. Owners Sarah & JD Wingfield have built their life and love around caring for animals and always look for the best options for their own pets and wanted to provide safe, reliable services to other pet owners in the area.

As a certified veterinary assistant, Sarah has over 15 years experience in animal care both personally and professionally. Her professional experience includes volunteer and foster work at animal shelters, working as a veterinary technician and training her personal pets for therapy work.

JD has over 15 years experience caring for animals and providing residential maintenance services. After spending years providing residential services for the elderly, JD found his purpose in making sure individuals and their families (furry ones too!) have someone to trust and rely on in times of need.

We started No Stress Pet Sitting in 2013 and our mission is to provide a stress-free option to traditional boarding facilities and to take care of our customer's pets like they're our own. That means coming to you and your home for more than just a feeding. We routinely walk, play and train your animal to make sure that they're not just getting fed, but individual attention, exercise and love.
