Meet Rowan!
Rowan is a sweet 1-year-old pitbull mix currently being fostered in Baltic, CT. This handsome, neutered boy is the full package: gentle, affectionate, smart, and ready to find his forever family.

Rowan’s foster describes him as very quiet and an absolute cuddlebug — he’ll happily curl up on the couch with you for hours. He’s also incredibly intelligent and learns quickly, making him a fun dog to train and bond with.

Rowan gets along well with both dogs and cats, including the cats in his current foster home. He’s not fully house-trained yet, but he’s making progress, and he’s already crate trained, doing well both overnight and for reasonable amounts of time during the day.

This sweet boy has no known restrictions and is simply looking for someone who will continue guiding him as he grows. With a patient, loving family, Rowan is sure to blossom into an even more amazing companion.

If you’re looking for a quiet, cuddly, and bright young pup to add to your home, Rowan might be the perfect match.

Meet Jennie!

Jennie is a gentle, timid, and incredibly sweet female pup looking for a quiet, loving home to call her own. Her exact breed mix is unknown, but her personality speaks volumes — soft, kind, and full of potential once she feels safe.

Jennie has a shy, sweet disposition and truly blossoms in calm environments. She’s gentle, communicates when she needs to go outside, and absolutely adores treats. One of her foster’s favorite things about her is how respectful and easygoing she is with other animals — cats are no issue at all, and she’s also good with dogs and people, including children.

She is house trained, and while she doesn’t use a crate, she thrives with her own quiet space where she can relax and decompress. Jennie does need some time to acclimate to new surroundings and may be timid at first, but once she trusts you, her loving personality shines through.

Jennie is the perfect match for someone who wants a calm, gentle companion and is willing to give her the patience and softness she deserves.

Our adoption fee covers:

🐾 Rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccine series
🐾 Microchip which can be customized to your contact info in case your dog ever gets lost
🐾 Spay/neuter (even after adoption!)
• Use our vet for the alter appointment and we cover the cost
• Want to use your own vet? Show proof of alter within the allotted time and we reimburse a portion towards the cost!
🐾 We can guarantee their 4dx test is up to date so you can continue to purchase preventatives through your vet with out additional testing!
🐾 If any worms/parasites are detected at health exams with our vet, we treat and cover the cost!

Cole thinks balls are life and will play fetch tirelessly.

Cole loves people, dogs and walks! He’s happy inside or outside and seems to enjoy water, although it’s too cold to really test this out at the moment.
He will sit in your lap if you’re on the floor. He does this nearly every time he brings the ball back while playing fetch.

Cole has not had any accidents, either in the crate or while free in the house. He doesn’t waste time on walks and does his business nearly first thing when starting out on a walk.

He crates quietly overnight. When crated in a quiet location while people are home, may bark for a few minutes before settling down. Working on the “kennel up” command with a cheese reward. No crate accidents, no destructive behaviors in crate.

Cole is very much a big puppy in his behaviors. He will benefit from additional training to reinforce desired behaviors and redirect any undesired behaviors.

Pixie loves to meet new people of all ages and adjusts very well to her environment. She has been great with everyone she has met but with louder young children she is a bit timid.

She loves to take all of her toys and snuggle with them on the couch or under the coffee table.

Pixie is learning very quickly to go outside. She has not had an accident in the crate overnight or while she is in her crate during the day.

Pixie loves to know what’s going on at all times & will be your shadow!

He might be 7 years old but those big puppy eyes are for ever!

Neutered Male - Hound Mix

Daryl was fortunate to recently transfer into foster homes and is doing well. Daryl loves to sleep on the couch and snuggle with anyone who sits on said couch!
He is a pretty chill dog & also enjoys chewing toys.

He is adjusting to his new home including the resident dog, and to new routines there. He is working on crate training with positive reinforcements such as having his meals, snacks and special toys in there. He settles quickly and falls sleep when crated during the night or when left alone.

Daryl loves to sniff! Getting good walks & outdoor time will be important to him!

Juno has had no trouble settling right in to her foster home. Her favorite place to nap is under the food bowl! She is sweet & playful.

She is working on house/crate training and is fostered with other large dogs.

With rescue, there's no guarantee on size.
It is the adopters responsibility to teach puppies how to interact with children, dogs, and cats.

Adopters must agree to:
1. Set up appointment with vet to establish care
2. Bring to your vet for monthly weigh ins to ensure proper flea/tick/heartworm preventative dose
3. Meet with rescue representative to finish vaccine series
4. Bring to our vet in Eastford, CT for alter appointment TBD
➡️Alternatively, vetting may be taken over by adopter as the rescue will follow through to confirm vaccines and neuter were completed.

These two owner surrenders are looking for fosters. You can always foster and if it is a match, adopt! ❤️

These are well loved dogs (Angus was originally a WOFAR dog) whose owner is going through some tough times and is unfortunately unable to care for them.

They can be fostered/ adopted together or individually.

Angus: 7 year old staffordshire terrier
Duchess: 11 year old Jack Russell mix

🐾 Angus - Staffordshire Terrier
Birthday 3/1/18 (7 years old)
Angus is a sweet big lapdog who loves to cuddle in soft beds and under blankets. He does have slight separation anxiety, but he will not destroy your house!! He will just find a warm spot to fall asleep and wait until you arrive. He is potty trained, crate trained, and has decent leash manners. He is afraid of loud noises and may flinch at sudden movements, but he is not reactive. He needs thyroid meds and annual blood work, unless dictated otherwise by your vet. He needs slow introductions to be decompressed to other dogs in the home and may not do well with small pets. He is very good with children of all ages and loves to be a part of the family. He will not jump on small children, but he will jump on his owner's with excitement when they arrive home. All he wants is to be loved.

🐾 Duchess - Jack Russel Mix
Birthday 9/7/14 (11 years old)
Duchess is a high energy princess who loves to run, play tug-o-war, and tumble. She knows fetch, but doesn’t have good leash manners and will need training. She will eat any food dropped on the floor, we call her an ant eater for that reason!! She can be ok with other dogs but needs slow introductions to be decompressed. She loves long walks and she is good with kids of all ages. She loves human attention and will put her head on your lap for you to pet her and when you stop she will nudge you to continue. She was a an emotional support dog for about 10 years. She knows when someone isn't feeling well, sad, or mad and she will come towards you but wait for you to initiate contact with her. She is a very smart dog.
