This boy wants to join your home! 🏡

Keats is 2.5 years old, 60lbs, neutered and up to date on all vaccines

🐶He is very dog friendly and great with kids! No cats for this guy.

🐾Keats' big smile is infectious as he lays on the couch tired from playing! His head tilt when listening is impressive.

🦴He doesn't pull on a leash and is so excited at the chance to go outside.

☀️Keats loves car rides, relaxing on the seat or gazing out of the window!

⛔️Keats can be a flight risk with open doors. He does have great recall though and is very motivated by treats. He is weary of men inside the home, but does better meeting them out in public.

🐕Keats is gentle with the small-breed resident dog, and does great with the pre-teen & teen children. He is a little shadow to his foster in the house, not wanting to miss a thing!

Texas is an 8 year old Chihuahua mix & Available for Adoption!

Texas is house and crate trained, he is good with people, dogs and cats. He is very sweet and does not bark excessively.
He does take daily anti anxiety medication.

Texas is neutered & up to date on vetting!

His foster describes him as having “Big Dog Energy!”
Texas wants to keep up with everything and isn’t a purse pup, he wants to be treated just like the big dogs he is fostered with.

Please note: Fosters will be taking the puppies home prior to the fireworks starting. Anyone that is not afraid of the noises may attend and enjoy the show.

Bandit is Available for Adoption!

Male puppy
3.5 months old
Lab Mix

Bandit has been fostered with his sister Bingo &
they are great puppies. They have lots of energy & are very food motivated.
They have been fostered with a variety of large breed dogs and kids.

It is the adopters responsibility to teach proper introductions with dogs, cats, and kids.
Adopters must agree to:
1. Set up appointment with vet to establish care
2. Bring to your vet monthly weigh ins to ensure proper flea/tick/heartworm preventative dose
3. Meet with rescue representative to finish vaccine series
4. Bring to our vet in Eastford, CT for spay appointment
Alternatively, vetting may be taken over by adopter as the rescue will follow through to confirm vaccines and neuter were completed.

Bingo is looking for her fur-ever home!

Bingo is fostered with her brother Bandit and they are happy, silly puppies. She is more timid than her brother. They have lots of energy & are very food motivated!

Vincent is Available for Adoption!

9 week old puppy
Male, Mixed Breed

💙Vincent is a super love bug and wants to be held or lay next to you.
He’s vocal about letting you know he wants to go outside to the bathroom! He sleeps soundly through the night.

Vincent enjoys other dogs but may be nervous at first. He’s most comfortable initating play when ready. He is fostered with large dogs and staying with extra large dogs now during vaca coverage - he warmed right up to his new friends!

He loves kids, has no interest (yet) in cats, and is very curious about chickens! He walks well on the leash and LOVES sticks!

It is the adopters responsibility to teach proper introductions with dogs, cats, and kids.
Adopters must agree to:
1. Set up appointment with vet to establish care
2. Bring to your vet monthly weigh ins to ensure proper flea/tick/heartworm preventative dose
3. Meet with rescue representative to finish vaccine series

Abigail is ready to meet her family!! 💕

Female Bully Mix
4 months
Perfect combo of puppy play and cuddles!

Abigail is always happy and excited! Her tail does not stop wagging and she will bring a smile to your face with the amount happiness she greets you with.

Abigail has a fun, spunky personality who loves to play with other dogs and curl up with them when it’s time for a nap. She loves being in between her humans and doggy friends when she naps!

Abigail has the sweetest eyes and has shown how quickly she can pick up on things. You can tell she’s eager to please with how attentive she is.

Abigail has been great with doing her potty outside and is treat motivated. She will pace around one area a bit as a sign she has to something and will follow you to the door to go outside. Abigail is mastering her crate training routine and sleeps soundly through the night.

She loves to be outside & is doing great learning leash skills.

When adopting a puppy, adopters must agree to:
1. Set up an appointment with your own vet to establish care.
2. Bring to your vet monthly for weigh ins in order to purchase the proper size flea/ tick/ hearworm preventative dose.
3. Meet up with a rescue voulunteer to finish any vaccines (no charge).
4. Bring to our vet in Eastford for spay appointment on 8/7 (rescue covers the cost of spay!).
Alternatively, vetting can be taken over by the adopter at their own cost and vet.

WOFAR Community, we need your help!

We have stepped in to rescue mama Adele and her 7 puppies from a southern shelter. Adele was stuck waiting for far too long, until a foster stepped up as her saving grace!

Mama Adele is underweight and now on medication for mastitis, which she cannot nurse on.
❗️Formula is expensive and we need your help to care for this new family.

Adele is also Heartworm Positive, which is an expensive and lengthy treatment process, plus she will need to be spayed once ready.
The puppies will continue to receive care & age appropriate vaccines when ready.

❗️Heartworm treatment, formula and initial vetting will cost our rescue just over 3,000.

We are not accepting adoption applications at this time - our focus is providing immediate care.
