🏡Interested in fostering? Come meet our dogs looking for temporary homes, talk directly with members to learn more, and find a perfect match ON SITE!

🐶Meet adoptable dogs and puppies while learning more about our organization!

🐕These events are a great way for you to see if the dog you've had your eye on is a match made in best friend heaven.

⭐ Pre-approved adopters may even leave the event with their new buddy! New adopters who fall in love at the event with begin the process on site with WOFAR Board Members

🐶Unsure about adopting? Fostering is the perfect place to start!
Fosters have first option to adopt their pup.

With rescue, there's no guarantee on size
Adopters must agree to:
1. Set up appointment with vet to establish care
2. Bring to your vet monthly weigh ins to ensure proper flea/tick/heartworm preventative dose
3. Meet with rescue representative to finish vaccine series
4. Bring to our vet in Eastford, CT for alter appointments TBD
Alternatively, vetting may be taken over by adopter as the rescue will follow through to confirm vaccines and alter were completed.

Mazy looks ready to take flight right into your home with those ears! 😂💕

Mazy is 4 months of pure big-puppy cuteness! She is wrinkly and snuggly and the life of the party at doggy camp.

Mazy is a little reserved but very loving.

She is mixed breeds and will likely be larger.
Her vaccines are UTD & she will be spayed through the rescue. Option available for adopter to take over alter as well.

I’m inquisitive and loving with a fabulous tail that curls up! I love to play with a group of dog friends and even did great with a cat test today!

Lady Capulet is Available for Adoption!

Mini Schnauzer/Cocker Spaniel Mix
21lbs

Lady loves to snuggle on the couch with her humans. She is fostered with dogs, cats, and farm animals. She is a timid girl coming out of her shell.

Lady is house and crate trained. She is skittish on the leash and will benefit from a patient handler to teach her new things. It’s important she has a physical fence or remains on leash at all times outdoors until she has gained confidence and learned recall.

Lady does well in the house unattended and is a velcro dog to the people she trusts.
