Nature
Django is a friendly fella, he loves to follow you around the house, flopping at your feet in the hope of getting a pat, and of course he gets lots of pats, how could you resist that face?

Django is a confident cat, swanning around, swooshing his tail, snuffling and purring as he goes, he loves to explore, everything is up for a look see, and it is a must that he has full reign of the house. He loves a pat and a cuddle, if he is not right there with you creating a trip hazard, you will most likely find him sprawled out in the middle of the floor with his great big extra fluffy paws stretched out in front of him, or he will be twisted over with all four feet in the air. Django regularly gets the “zoomies”, he starts off running on the spot till his feet get traction, and then he is off flying around the house and up to the top of the tallest scratch post.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Django is in foster care with other cats, he gets on well with everyone, but he does like to get a little overenthusiastic with friendliness towards his fur companions, and this is not always welcomed. Django would be best suited to a quiet household with older children/teens and adults, he is not suitable for homes with dogs or small children. Another friendly and confident cat companion to keep him company would be fabulous, but make sure they have a slow introduction to each other.

Likes / Dislikes
He loves a pat and a cuddle and of course loves mealtime. Django likes to be where you are, he wants to be part of your life. Django will need regular brushing and his eyes and nose cleaned when needed, he does not particularly like this but needs to be done.

My PURR-fect home would be where I AM KING! One where you are home a lot, so we can spend time together and you can pamper me with love, cuddles and pats, and games. Oh, and food!

Nature
Hi there! We are Gus, Jeb, and Ned, we are confident kittens who would fit right into most households. This is what a typical day looks like for us, we are running amuck, eating, sleeping, rough and tumbling, zooming, jumping, tackling, springing, rolling, climbing, purring, sleeping some more because all that is exhausting, phew! But then after a few hours of sleep, we are in orbit again!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
We think we would be ok with another friendly cat or you could adopt more than one of us, that would be fun, we do love playing with each other! We should be ok with a doggie as long as you let us have time to get used to each other, a very slow introduction over a month or two would be great, we are only tiny and doggo may be big! Same goes for the smaller humans, if they treat us right, I’m sure we will be friends in no time.

Likes / Dislikes
We love all the fun things, like playing, eating, sleeping, purring, zoomies, pretty much if we are not eating or sleeping, we are in orbit, running amuck.

Our PURR-fect home would be one where you are home a lot, so we can spend time together to help us blossom into beautiful cats. We need patience and love to become part of your family. A friendly kitty friend or you could adopt two or all of us, to play with and snuggle would be purrfect.

💜⛅️💙 MEET MINTY, SNOWY, CHALKY & CLOUDY 💙⛅️💜

Nature
Minty, Snowy, Chalky and Cloudy are happy, healthy energetic kittens. They love to run amok around the house like typical kittens, and are sweet and funny. They are all still a little shy and apprehensive, but are growing in confidence every day.

They will need homes with a special human(s) that will understand that they will need time and love to continue to grow their confidence. They have not been exposed to dogs or children, but due to their gentle nature each would be best suited to a more quiet household.

💚 Minty is a cutie, she is the smallest sibling, but the most confident of the four. Minty is always up for high jinks with her siblings. She loves to have a cuddle and to sleep on your lap.

💙 Snowy and Chalky are always up for some fun, rough and tumbling around the house, ambushing their sisters Minty and Cloudy, from behind the couch at every opportunity. Minty and Cloudy then join in the fun ending up in a cute black kitten ball rolling around the house.

🤍 Cloudy is a little sweetie, she is a little apprehensive and still building her confidence, and is a little more shy than her siblings. She does love to join in the fun and mischief with her siblings. Cloudy is timid and will need your love and understanding to blossom.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Minty, Snowy, Chalky and Cloudy would be best suited to a quiet household with older children / teens and adults. Small children and noisy households may be too overwhelming and scary for them.

Another friendly confident cat companion to keep them company and help build their confidence would be fabulous, but ensuring sure they have a slow introduction to each other. They have not met any dogs yet, but if your dog is calm and cat friendly, they could probably live with them after a slow and steady introduction.

Likes / Dislikes
They LOVE playtime, especially together, keeping each other company. They also love a little snuggle with each other, or with their human companions.

As for dislikes, loud and sudden movement or noises may frighten them a little.

Hi! My name is Cheeky, cheeky by name, cheeky by nature, and I’m the nominated spokes kitten for our little pawsome foursome.

Nature
We are gorgeous, sweet kittens; we have not been in care for long after being rescued from a construction site. We are still a little shy and apprehensive, but we are coming around to home life very quickly. We can be picked up and patted when you approach us slowly and calmly. We are looking forward to our new furever homes where we will learn quickly to trust, grow to love, and build our confidence in our new home with you.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
We would be best suited to a quiet household with older children/teens and adults. Small children and noisy households may be a little too overwhelming and scary for us.
Another friendly confident cat companion to keep us company and help build our confidence would be great. We have not met any dogs yet, but if your dog is calm and cat-savvy, then we should have no issues living with one of them. We will need slow introductions when meeting any new member of the household.

Likes / Dislikes
We love games and food, that is the way to our heart. We get very excited about play time and will jump all over our foster mum to get that silly mouse toy! We are slowly getting used to pats and cuddles as well.

We do get a little startled at sudden noises and movements, but I’m sure we will adapt to that soon.

Our PURR-fect homes would be one where you are home a lot, so we can spend time together to help us blossom into beautiful cats. We need patience and love to become part of your family. Juju and Jelly are the sweetest cats, they are gentle and loving, they love human company and the pats we give them. They are young and playful, big kittens really, they love to play with their toys, running amuck, throwing their mouse toy in the air, and giving it a right kicking, so much so that every now and then you will find a poor mouse toy deflated and flat after all its stuffing has been kicked right out of it. 😹

Nature
Juju and Jelly are sisters, they were born into a thick bushland area in a small town. A lovely lady started feeding them after they appeared as kittens at her property, as the lady watched them grow into beautiful teen cats, she knew they needed to come into care to find their forever home.

Juju is the confident sister, she greets you by smooching, rubbing, and wrapping her tail around your legs. She loves a pat and to be where you are, flopping down alongside you for pats and a head scratch. Juju loves her sister Jelly, and they snuggle up together to sleep away the hours.

Jelly is still a little shy and apprehensive at times. She also loves a pat and to be where you are, she will give you a little squeak to get your attention, putting her head forward for a head scratch. Jelly is a gorgeous sensitive, sweet cat, she loves to snuggle with her sister Juju.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Juju and Jelly will need a family that is willing to give them lots of love, patience, and time (it may take a few months for them to get used to you) to build a bit of trust with them, but once you do, the rewards will be their love.

Juju and Jelly would be best suited to a quiet household with no small children. Juju and Jelly have not met any dogs, the neighbour’s dogs bark loudly and Juju and Jelly are not too fussed about that, if your dog is calm and cat friendly, they probably could live with them after a slow and steady introduction. Juju and Jelly get on well with other cats.

Juju and Jelly love their food, a comfy bed, pats and head rubs. They dislike loud noises, approaching them suddenly and unpredictably.

RIP Fish 💔
Special words for a special little, once undomesticated, cat called Fish 💕
We are heartbroken at the sudden loss of our little foster cat, Fish, last week. Fish was with us for 2 years; she came into care undomesticated from an unsafe industrial area. Fish was very feisty to say the least, she was probably one of the hardest nuts I have had the pleasure of cracking. It was a year before I could touch her and even then, it was by default, Fish loved the other cats in the household, when she would smooch them, I would slip in for pat or two, she loved a pat until she saw that it was me, then I would get a smack and a glare, hahah.
But as time went on Fish would seek me out for pats, reversing up to me, could never pat her head on, always bum first, she loved big pats, head scratches, and chin rubs. I would put my ear to her side to listen to her purr, I loved hearing her purr, it made me happy knowing she was happy. If I felt a cat rubbing and twirling around my legs, it was generally Fish demanding pats. “pats please, oh no! I have changed my mind, I will run away, oh but I want pats, I am back again” 😆
Yes, Fish loved pats, but she was still cautious and a little apprehensive. Fish had her favorite spots around the house to curl up and sleep, she had her very own small box, with her favorite blanket, her box sat behind me in my office, she would pop her head up regularly and watch me with big round eyes and every now and then she would sneak around to the back of my computer screen and eyeball me around the corner, she cracked me up. Another of Fish’s fav spots was a luxury piece of artificial grass that she made her own, she loved to sleep there, and the imprint made by her little body still remains, reminding me of her.
I loved that she was happy, and I believe she was, she would roll around in the sun playing with a stick or a leaf she had found and later you would find her in the front cat run sitting straight up, ears forward watching the birds, then it was time for pats and smooching with the other cats, and finally it was finding one of her fav spots, curling up in the tightest ball and sleeping away the afternoon.
Fish loved to be with everyone at mealtimes, she was a full participant in the household, she was part of our family, we loved her and missing her very much.
Fish the beautiful feisty once undomesticated cat that will always have a place in our hearts.
I have so many photos and videos of her it was hard to choose.

Here at CatRunning we have been following this very sad situation of our precious wombat being buried alive 🥺😭.
It is unbelievable what humans are capable of, such disgraceful behavior 😡

WE NEED YOUR HELP – PLEASE SHARE FAR AND WIDE

We've launched a petition. A really important petition. In just 30 seconds, we can all do something magical together. We are sick and tired of seeing our precious wombat being buried alive. We can’t sit by and watch.

Last week we were told about burrows on a nature strip on the side of a remote dirt road that someone had filled in and buried the little wombats alive. It is just too sad for words. I can’t imagine the pain, the suffering, the hurt.

This is now nearly a weekly occurrence and we can’t sit by any more. We’ve seen it time and time again and we need to speak out. If we don’t, nothing will change.

Day in day out, wombats in South Australia are being buried alive as a form of eradication. Wombats can not dig themselves out of bulldozed burrows as they have nowhere to put the soil. They become entombed and suffocate. If the wombats are not helped, they can live for up to 21 days once their burrows have been filled in. What a horrible death!

Too too sad. We’ve been stressed all week, but realise that the power is in our hands to make a difference. We’ve launch a petition to present to Premier Steven Marshall for complete protection of the Southern Hairy-nosed Wombats and their burrows.

We estimate we will need over 100,000 signatures to make a difference. Every signature will go such a long way to convincing the Premier to change the laws.

The laws need to be changed. We can’t sit back and watch any more. Our wombats are stressed, our wombats are in danger and without your help this cruel practice will continue.

Happy Adoption Day Scruff 💕
Old girl Scruff went and got herself adopted 🥰💕🐈‍⬛
Scruff was in care with us for nearly 12months, she came into care in a very bad way, it took months to get back to good health. She is the sweetest little cat, quirky and funny and definitely marching to her own drum 😆 Her new Mum was so excited to take her home. Scruff will have another cat and a little blind chihuahua as her new friends.

Dusty is a super loving and beautiful girl with a great big heart! She came into the care of the Angels with her three kittens after they were discovered living under a lawnmower. While they all had a bit of a tough go at the beginning, she was a wonderful mother to them and has flourished since being in foster care. Now her babies have found their furever homes, it's time for this lovely mumma to find hers too!

Nature
When Dusty came into care she was understandably a little stressed and scared. It didn't take long at all for her to start enjoying the comforts of indoor life - from a nice warm comfy bed to regular meal times and a safe place for her kittens to grow and play!
While she can still be a little shy at times, especially if she feels overwhelmed, she loves pats and head rubs and enjoys human company. Dusty may need a little time to settle into her new home and feel comfortable enough to open up to you, but as soon as she does you'll find yourself with a new little shadow. One who purrs loudly, who pops her bottom up in the air for long strokes on her back, who twirls around your legs and who doesn't let you forget when it's dinner time!

Dusty also loves to play, she sometimes gets the zoomies and will run circles around the house and jumping in the air, but it never lasts too long - a few minutes later you'll find her curled up in a nice comfy spot, softly snoozing away.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Dusty's sweet nature extends to her feline friends too. She currently lives in a home with lots of other cats and she gets on well with everyone. She'd do well with having a friendly, confident cat to keep her company in her furever home, but they'll need to be introduced slowly to give them the best possible chance of friendship!

Dusty hasn't yet met any dogs, although the neighbour’s dogs bark loudly and it doesn’t faze her at all. So, if your dog is calm and cat friendly, Dusty could probably live with them - though again, slow intros will be crucial!
