Marvin the Mutt passed over the Rainbow Bridge this morning. He is now at peace from the troubles of old age but will be greatly missed by his Mom and Pet Hooman.

According to Mom, I am fourteen and 2/7 years old this weekend which is the same as one hundred hooman years (on the basis that one doggie year is seven Hooman years). Whateva! Me is very old. I wonder if I'll receive a message from King Charles (de spaniel)?

Just spent quarter of an hour trying to persuade Mom to give me some titbits from what she was cooking. Turned out that the Witch was brewing handcream. I'm now sulking and refusing to pose haha.

Appawently, according to my officul adoption papers from Manchester Dogs Home, its my 14th birfday today. That's 98 in Hooman years. Here are some photos of me over the last 12 and a harf years since my Gotcha Day.

Mom got her cauldron out this morning and concocted an awful smelling brew. I fink it was some kind of Hooman food but a very strange one. I tried to assist but was shooed out of the kitchen when the strange brew started boiling and spitting. How dare she?!

I've been on my holidays again but now safely back home and reunited with my favourite sofa but the brown one isn't too bad.

Mom loves the presy that Hooman bought for her. A jigsaw of her favourite photo of me. I must say that we are rather handsome together. Also thanks Mom and Hooman for my yummy Chrimbmas Dinner. I should be eating like this every day. Happy Chrimbmas everyone x

Hippo birfday to my darling Mom who is feeling full after scoffing a set meal from the wonderful Milnrow balti. She shared it with Hooman but hasn't learnt that the meal has a generous doggie bag allowance.. hungry stares haven't worked.

I took Mom to Stanneybrook Park again today. Not sure whats going on but either the drugs do work (in my case) or I'm loving this cold weather. Mom was flippin freezin hehe haha.

After taking Mom to Stanneybrook Park yesterday then having the stress of watching Hooman watching the football last night, I had hoped to sofa surf today. Howeva they had other ideas and put the strange indoor tree thing up again so I had to snooze in my basket before I realised that it was more fun to lie in dare way hahahahaha. Now it's up I'll have to lie against it just to see if it topples.

Was back at the vet this week for my second librella jab. Still waiting and hoping for it to work fully but do feel better than i did. Mom keeps saying I'm nearly 14. Well thanks Mom - 13 3/4 if you please... just because I'm not 13 1/2 anymore I'm a long long way from 14.

It's good to be back home after a fortnight in North Essex. Beautiful wevver, autumnal sunbathing, great short walks, meeting friends but nuffing beats my sofa.

Sharing final holiday memories... a brilliant return day last Saturday- a stroll around Seahouses, a short run at Beadnell Beach then home via Housesteads Fort with a long walk as Mom wanted to see the installation celebrating 1900 years since Hadrian built a very big wall (she told me not to say that she fort it was for the Queen's Jublee but I have anyway hahahahaha).

Last Sunday we had a blowy day out to Lindisfarne. We went to the priory then Mom went for a walk and I had snoozes in the car with Pet Hooman and then snoozes on the couch as I was a tired doggie.

I've just had a lovely week in Seahouses but really annoyed that I couldn't post on here (updates to followthis week). Back to my usual haunts today, a long (for me) walk to Stanney Brook Park. Mom was proud of me but a bit concerned that I've done too much but I was leading the way.

After 36 hours of pretending to be injured I blew my cover and chased a cat. Probably won't get muffins and cuddles now and still on short walks with a harness for support.

Mom's last day at work has come so she can now spend all of her time with me. I made sure that the ingredients for my favourite turkey muffins went on the shopping list, so here's hoping.
Not so good is that I fink I've hurt my left shoulder. I'm hobbling and on strict rest and lots of cuddles and hoping that I don't need to go to de nasty hopital for prodding and fixing.
