Hey handsome!
Did you know that dangly thing on a turkey’s head is called a snood?! And it changes color based on their mood! It can be dark red like Milo’s today, all the way to purple and bright blue! It moves too! It can shrink down to a small bump or hang like this! We call it their mood snood! 🦃

Our gentle giant Jasper and his brother Wally just turned nine in August! It’s always something to celebrate when these sweethearts make another trip around the sun! 🎂 A few weeks later and Jasper is having trouble with his back legs. Carrying that big body is hard on their legs and joints. He is still happy, eating, drinking, and scooting around and will get up and walk if we give him a hand (or a few hands). He’s on pain management but could use all the love and encouragement you could send him! 🫶✨
