Made it… welcome to peanut butter heaven! Got my own jar and a magic dog biscuit recipe.

Another big day done on holidays. I asked mun to turn off the light at 8:30pm.

I did write in my journal:
Went for an explorer walk with mum
Had some brocolli with dinner
Had some of my favourite yoghurt drops
Dipped my paws in the river twice
Had some cheese
Watched a whole lot of people do a whole lot of things
Had an afternoon nap with mum
Smelt, sniffed and number 2 all working correctly
Oh yeah and...sniffed bbq in the air

Sweet dreams friends I have some dreaming to do

If you don't know… we are all on a camping holiday in the south island, new Zealand.
I have done some naughty things this year but having to be with my mum when she showers in the campground cancels them all off, don't get me wrong I have seen her naked every day of my life so that doesn't bother me - but having to perch on this seat so I don't escape through the bottom of the shower door takes the biscuit! - I think I will be ok for the santa nice list tomorrow - what a relief.

For all the southern hemisphere dogs - this is Christmas, for the northern hemisphere happy jackets and warm fires.

Currently on holiday, found this amazing thing called a weka!! - mum says it’s one of Nz flightless birds, keeps coming into my area - and If he’s not careful I will be roasting him for Christmas dinner.

Dear Santa Paws,
It’s me, Jasper, reflecting on my year and writing to you because you might want an update before making your Nice or Naughty List decisions. Let me start by saying I’ve been mostly a good boy this year. Sure, I have a few, um... quirks.

I might have stolen food a few times (okay, many times), but come on, Santa Paws, who could resist that cheese sandwich and can of Pringles? And I always do it with charm! Mum says I’m cheeky, but she secretly admires my creativity. There was this one time - not this year, so don’t add that to your list; I stole a sausage sandwich from a couple who were picnicking by the river - they never saw me coming, and the man chased after me! I gulped it down; it wasn’t my fault. It was a stupid place to eat a sandwich anyway.

Now, about my Riley... yes, he’s a smooth operator and definitely Mumma’s boy. Don’t let his ‘come to bed’ eyes fool you. He’s good at pretending to be perfect while I take the heat!

For Christmas, I’d love some tasty treats (the legal kind - I promise to share), maybe a new bow tie, and a little more time on the Nice List. If you’re feeling generous, maybe Riley could get a lump of coal? Just kidding (sort of!).

Thanks, Santa Paws, and I’ll try to keep my paws off the Christmas dinner this year... no promises, though.

It’s happening it’s happening… Santa is getting ready !! We got our first first two Christmas cards from our friends and .mini today

I should get a tshirt made with my face on it like Pippins people have - that way she will never forget me when she goes outside !! 🇨🇦

🏆🐶 Gold, glory, and a belly full of snacks—life is good. My smooth brother Riley is such a scallywag he is in to the rum already !! - I am going to have watch him as he’s supposed to be on the wagon.

Mum even got a special package just for her!!!!! my smooth brother Riley ran away with it but mum got it back. Mum said.. that package is not for sharing - I am pretty sure she will let me have a look.

I look like I don’t want to be that close to my smooth brother Riley as if he’s been on the drink this early in the day !!

Feeling a bit better friends, spending lots of time 💩 but hopefully that’s coming to an end.

Went to a scentwork trial today and still found what I needed even though me and mum only got 2 hours sleep last night because of my night time outdoor visits - is that too much information?

I think my foxy Margot bandana has brought me good luck today not just kept my neck from getting itchy from the vet shaving there.

I think I deserve an award for patience …. I don’t care if I get wet, if I cared I wouldn’t go outside… I don’t need to dress like a duck I am pretty confident in who I am as she always says - jasper is his own man. Now get this thing off me - don’t worry friends it stayed in the shop for a dress up dog - my smooth brother Riley likes to wear a jacket I should buy him this for Christmas - that would serve him right…. He’s a little ducker at times.

Happy 6th Birthday to my smooth brother Riley, may you get a pie for your supper today, some treats in your bday parcel, and a nice walk with mum.

Hopefully Santa doesn’t bring you a bag of coal for Christmas - because I wrote him and told him all about you. You better work double hard in November to be a good boy like me.

I would do this if I had totally lost all self control and I had a written guarantee that wouldn’t ever need a bath again! I have no idea what goes on in my smooth brother Riley’s brain !! Hamsters ? Maybe some sort of magnets rattle around up there.. I watch this madness with my whistle around my neck - ready to stop play at anytime!

Don’t listen to this crazy people - I do as I wish - If and when. I figured this out - The old “seven dog years to one human year” rule isn’t quite accurate. A dog’s first year is roughly equivalent to 15 human years. The second year is about 9 human years. Each following year is around 5 human years for small terriers so nine-year-old dog like me would be - 15 years (first year) + 9 years (second year) + 35 years (remaining seven years at 5 years each) = 59 human year. So what does that mean ? I can put my elbows on the table and yes I do own this place. Thanks for all the bday wishes, truly appreciated life is nothing without good friends.
