𝙃𝙀𝙇𝙋 𝙐𝙎 𝙐𝙉𝙇𝙊𝘾𝙆 𝘼𝙉 𝙀𝙓𝙏𝙍𝘼 $15,000 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙏𝙇𝘾 𝙁𝙐𝙉𝘿! ❤️🩹On Saturday night, we hosted our annual Tuxes & Tails Gala, where we highlighted special animals whose lives were changed this year by our Tender Loving Care (TLC) Fund. The TLC Fund covers the cost of urgent medical care and behavioral rehabilitation for our most fragile dogs, cats and horses.

A young cat has arrived at our Sam Swope Pet Treatment & Lifesaving Center fighting for his life after suffering horrific burns all over his body. Our veterinary team sedated him so they could shave him and further evaluate his injuries, and what they found is simply horrific.
We believe this cat was set on fire and abandoned to fend for himself. His wounds are deep and seem to “drip” down his body, indicating a flammable liquid was poured over him. Despite what he suffered at the hands of humans, this kitty has been sweet and loving towards our staff. He will remain under close observation until his condition stabilizes, but our team is dedicated to providing him with the safety, comfort and love he deserves. A young cat has arrived at our Sam Swope Pet Treatment & Lifesaving Center fighting for his life after suffering horrific burns all over his body. His wounds are deep and infected, putting him at risk of sepsis. Our veterinary team will need to sedate this poor kitty in order to shave his fur and further evaluate the severity of his injuries, but for now he is being given pain medication and antibiotics to keep him comfortable. HELP WILEY HEAL!
HELP WILEY HEAL: Earlier today we introduced you to Wiley, the four-month-old Great Pyrenees puppy who was viciously attacked by a coyote. Thanks to supporters like you, this brave boy is now at KHS getting the care he urgently needed. In this video, Dr. Bewley explains Wiley’s injuries and treatment plan as she preps him for surgery to close the wounds on his chin and eye to allow them to properly heal, in hopes of preventing him from needing another surgery, though we know there is still a risk that his eye may need to be removed.

We have so many jolly foster kittens without homes for the holidays! Can you provide temporary festive snuggles for a gingerbread cookie-loving, ornament-batting, gift wrap-shredding cutie?
