RACE4Ran is a 501(c)(3) that works in conjunction with Miranda Lambert's MuttNation to coordinate volunteer rescue relay transport and provide monetary vet assistance. So far in 2024, with the help of 230 volunteers, we've transported 20 pups almost 17,000 miles to their new homes or rescues, spanning from CA to VT. We've also already granted over $33,000 in assistance thanks to our partners and donors!! In 2023, we were so close to hitting the $60,000 and we're absolutely positive we can reach that in 2024.

All donations are tax-deductible with the majority of funds from grants, donations, and fundraisers going towards our monetary assistance program, as well as the occasional gas/mileage reimbursement for drivers who really want to drive but need some help and for any last-minute accessories that may come up needed for our rescue transports! 🐾

WE need YOUR help to be able to continue to help pets and their families when they really need it, and in getting animals to safety in rescues or new homes!! You can help us out and possibly get yourself a little treat! WE can't do any of this without YOU! 🥰

TRANSPORT FOR: Winter, a sweet and outgoing Alaskan Husky. She’s charming and bouncy, with all of that regular Husky pup energy! Winter seems to be good with everything, but probably a bit too rough for cats. She’s been in foster at her rescue for several months but has now found her perfect furever home and needs to hitch a ride up to VA! ❤️🐾🐶

TRANSPORT FOR: Sweet Willow, a petite Alaskan Husky. She was saved from a high kill shelter in CA last summer so she’s been in foster for several months waiting for that perfect application. She’s found it and is ready to head to NY!! She still acts like a pup sometimes and can be a bit rambunctious, but overall she’s a pretty laid back girl! ❤️🐾🐶

St. James, MO to Au Sable Forks, NY

TRANSPORT FOR: Scout, a sweet white GSD! Scout was found as a stray in San Pedro, CA and taken to a small shelter with very little traffic and A LOT of GSDs in need. Scout was unlikely to find a home but luckily, some prior adopters had recently lost a dog they adopted from the rescue and had asked them to be on the lookout for a new furbaby for them. Once they saw Scout's video, they knew he was the one! He's fun, loving, easy-going, and quite the character! ❤️🐾🐶

TRANSPORT FOR: Sara, a Great Pyrenees mix. Sara was stuck at a kill shelter in OK - she was a stray and entered the shelter terrified. Volunteers were there pulling other dogs when they saw her and asked rescue partners up in PA to take her. They knew she needed help before it was too late. She’s ready to get up to rescue in PA where she can find her perfect furever home. ❤️🐾🐶

TRANSPORT FOR: Duke and Oakley. Oakley is an owner surrender and is well-trained and lovable. His owners had no time for him as she breeds Frenchies. Duke is a sweet senior that’s very happy and lovable. He was pulled from the Ft. Worth shelter. They both ride great in the car! Duke does have an eye that gets a little gunky from mild entropion, possibly from an old injury, that will be managed up at the rescue in VT (he needs it wiped throughout the day). Both dogs are HW- and have had Proheart injections and Bravecto. They’re ready to head to their adopter (Oakley) and rescue (Duke) up northeast!! ❤️🐾🐶

San Antonio, TX to Harpers Ferry, WV and Guilford, VT

TRANSPORT FOR: Desoto, a big floofy Alaskan Malamute. This big guy was found as a stray in CA and taken to the shelter. Luckily he got pulled and has been in foster waiting his turn to get to his rescue in MO! He's a big boy who loves to give big, furry hugs! ❤️🐾🐶

TRANSPORT FOR: Three ‘oodles that were dumped at a high-kill shelter in rural OK. A rescue partner stepped up to pull them and they’ve been in foster, getting ready to head up northeast to find their new furever homes!! ❤️🐾🐶
