We are Odessa 👧🏼 and Kiev 👦🏻 We’re confident a and outgoing young pups with a personality that will melt your heart.
* We are bonded siblings and we’d like to find one loving family.
Five months ago our Ukrainian mom was walking by a river when she heard screaming noises. When she looked closely she saw us in a plastic bag thrown in the river. We were only weeks old, starving, dehydrated and frightened. Mom and her friend ran after is and scooped us up from the river.
We were in terrible condition so mom rushed us to tge vet where we were checked up and received some emergency aid. The vet brought the bad news to mom: “these two won’t make it till tomorrow!”.
We were shivering in shock and in pain. Mom took us under her wings and started milk feeding us, guess we’re just a lucky boy and girl and we made it through that night 😊.
Mom and family were amazing to us although they case for so many other dogs and cats, we were mom’s special children.
Life was great and we were very happy till a crazy man decided to invade our beloved Ukraine 💔.
Things started to get scary and tough. Mom started to struggle to feed her family and us. She couldn’t take us to see a vet anymore and we got to have one meal a day only. We could hear mom crying at night in disparate.
One day a group of kind people visited our town, they brought along tons of food, toys, treats and meds. Mom was so excited and welcomed them in our home. We couldn’t believe when they started unloading huge bags of doggy and cat food at our doorstep, mom was on tears when suddenly she approached the group and told them our story, she said she’s very worried about our future here as things are becoming really scary and life very difficult, she asked the group if they can take us away to safety with them.
In no time we we’re getting prepared to travel with the kind people out of Ukraine. At some point mom couldn’t let go but she knew we were no safe there.
In couple of hours we were getting smuggled into Romania.
Everything been like a dream since we got here, our new rescuers fulfilled mom’s wishes and we’ve been extremely loved and spoiled.
We’re 6 months old now, about to get sterlized 😣 and our rescuers started looking for our forever home in EU and Canada.
Odessa: I am an energetic and affectionate gal with a license to kiss and will use it at any given opportunity. Apart from my kissing skills, I have also been told I am a great walker. I enjoy a good sniff and will happily trot along beside you. It doesn’t take me time to get used to new people / pets or new surroundings, I’m just a happy girl who loves life 🥰
Kiev and I love going to the fenced area to run around with both my two legged and four legged friends, so I can only imagine the fun I would have with my own family.
Kiev: My gentle nature and innocent smile will melt your heart. I enjoy meeting new faces and showing my playful side to the world. Most of all, I love my walks and my human volunteers cuddling me and scratching behind my floppy ears. I’m also very protective over Odessa and love to steal her toys and treats even when I have lots of them.
I also have an obsession of cats. I just love to kiss them and be around them they’re soo cute!
We can’t wait to be adopted and get to the west. Our rescuers keep telling stories how pups like us are loved and treated there. We are looking forward to hearing all about you, please read the adoption info then comment or message this page and let’s start our adventure together!
Life is not easy for pups like us in Ukraine anymore. Our lives are in danger all the time – it is a constant battle just to make it through one more day in that war torn country.
Do you have a fenced in yard where we can take gentle walks together? That would be ideal for us!
If living with you means travelling to the EU or Canada, we will happily meet you there. The rescue team will book everything we need and we can soon be on our way to you.

- Odessa and Kiev are the most adorable / very healthy 6 months pups. They both have very sweet and unique nature and personality. O & K were rescued by Alamal team during one of their missions in Ukraine supported by their amazing American partners.
Odessa is very sassy and loving, she likes to be hugged and spoiled like the little princess she is.
Kiev is playful and goofy. He loves his sister so much and protective over her. They both are wonderful around small or large dogs and cats. They’re curious and love everybody.
Putin’s invasion to the peaceful Ukraine made it impossible for most people to care for their pets. Ukrainians are known for loving their animals but the war and millions of people fleeing the country is making Ukraine a hell for animals.
O & K are incredibly lucky to have been spotted and rescued by their Ukrainian mom.
We are looking for a loving and dog-experienced family to give these adorable little babies the loving home they deserve. Adopter/s must have a fenced in yard and willing to care for them FOREVER.
