💔After being sick for almost 4 weeks total 💔, I'm rising above and finding strength in our mission!
Despite being unable to network like normal, our adoptions may be down, but our spirits remain high.
Here's a glimpse into the incredible work we're doing:

🐾Bosa - in training/daycare
🐾Eddie - unfortunately was euthanized 💔
🐾Jimmy - finishing out shots, shave down
🐾Sunny - spay, shots, microchip.

We've made a significant investment in these precious lives, paying $1600 down with last month's donations.
We're over $3,000, and while it's a challenge, we're pushing forward, driven by our passion to make a difference.
Typically, I prefer to keep our expenses below $1,000, but I couldn't bear the thought of these resilient animals waiting for their forever homes without receiving the care they deserve. 🐾As of today, we're temporarily halting intake, but I promise to recharge and network more, ensuring these incredible animals find their forever homes.

As the year comes to a close, I'm reflecting on the journey and feeling grateful for the incredible support system that empowers our rescue work to thrive.
🐾Every day brings its unique challenges and triumphs, but the moment one pup finds their forever home, it's a testament to the power of compassion.
❤️A recent health scare put things into perspective, and after a slow recovery, I'm returning home to my loving foster and personal pups with renewed determination to create a brighter future for animals.

Here is to 2025! Let’s makes changes together ❤️🐾

Then Astro came along from CCAC after an amazing supporter sponsored his much needed surgery to get him off euthanasia list!

Two big batches of dog food in the works
This is what’s in each batch …

3 lbs ground chicken or turkey
2 lbs chicken livers
12 eggs
1 cup coconut oil
1 16oz bag brown rice
1 large container old fashioned oats
1 bag chopped broccoli frozen
1 bag peas frozen
1 bag chopped spinach frozen
1 small bag carrots frozen
4 large sweet potatoes
4 apples

Sometimes I’ll add additional things like blueberries, venison, or beef liver depending on what I’ve got around the house.

I (Bobbi) want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who reached out to me over the past week.
🐾I apologize for the messages I missed or had to reschedule.
🐾This bacteria infection in my lungs has been a challenging journey, but I'm rising above it. 🐾From struggling to breathe to worrying about the pups, I knew I had to take action and seek help at the ER. Which I have been for a week!

Thankfully, Cape Fear Hoke has been an incredible support system, and I'm grateful for their care.
Although I'm not completely out of the woods yet, I wanted to share my appreciation with everyone.
Once I'm back to my normal self, I'll be eager to dive back in and make a difference again. 🐾❤️

Help Us Care for Sweet One-Eyed Annie!

Life hasn’t been fair to our dear Annie 💔. She found herself in a shelter, matted and missing an eye, but when I saw her, I knew she was meant to be with us!

Thanks to Ruff Cuts Pet Grooming, Annie has received a fancy haircut, and she's now feeling so much happier! However, during a recent vet visit for what we thought was just a hot spot, we received some heartbreaking news: Annie has a mass that requires urgent attention.

Annie is scheduled for surgery on the 16th with Dr. Krivit, whom we trust wholeheartedly. We can’t wait any longer to get her the care she needs. To determine how extensive the mass is, we will also need to perform ultrasounds and X-rays.

Once she’s had her surgery, Annie will need several weeks of recovery—something I’m fully prepared for because she is sooooo worth it!

We are reaching out once again to ask for your help in covering her surgery costs. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference for our brave girl.
