Meet Beth, the groomer who is joining our Chester Salon: "My name is Beth. I'm a mom of 3 beautiful children and 1 one fur baby. I love dogs and grooming is my passion. I'm very excited to join Well Bred team so I can focus on one-on-one grooming and I spend all necessary time to provide a quality groom and a comfort to your dog.

I have been a groomer for 12 years now, including 7 years in Woofgang Grooming Salon. I can't wait to meet all customers and their pups at Well Bred!"

At Well Bred, we care about your pets and want to help you keep them safe during this extreme cold:

🐕 Limit Outdoor Time: Pets can get frostbite and hypothermia just like humans. Keep walks short and only when necessary.

🧥 Bundle Up: Short-haired or small dogs may need a coat or sweater to stay warm. Visit Well Bred for stylish and cozy winter gear for your pets!

🥶 Watch for Warning Signs: Shivering, whining, or holding up paws can be signs your pet is too cold.

Protect Your Pup's Paws This Winter‼️

Salt and ice can irritate your dog’s paw pads, but a few simple steps can help keep them healthy and comfortable:

1️⃣ Rinse Paws:
After every walk on salted surfaces, rinse your dog’s paws with lukewarm water to remove residue.

2️⃣ Dry Thoroughly:
Use a clean towel to dry their paws completely.

Our Story - Our Passion

Well Bred, founded in 2001 in Chester NJ, is the NJ oldest healthy pet store and pet boutique. In 2013 we decided to focus on what makes the biggest difference in our pets' lives - healthy, species appropriate nutrition. Our mission is to make sure all neighborhood pets have access to healthy nutritious foods. This is our passion and whatever we offer you, is not because we were instructed to do it by the corporate (we don’t have a corporate to tell us what to do!) nor because make better margin on those products. It’s because we think it’s a right healthy choice for your pet! We not only sell what is popular but we do monitor market to make sure we work only with ethical manufacturers who put in the food quality ingredients and who do what they say they would do.

We also have an awesome boutique section with better chews and treats and better products for all of your pet’s needs. That includes chews, fun toys, healthy treats and food, bakery cookies, supplements and other hard to find supplies for canines and felines, all at fair prices! We also have fun things such as super comfy beds that last forever or comfortable high quality clothing for very cold days for your pets!

We select products based on what we would offer our own pets and we constantly test them on our own pets.

We are located in Chatham (Hickory Square Plaza), Chester (Main St), Clinton (1802 Rt 31- Grayrock Plaza), and Livingston (S. Livingston 184) in New Jersey.
