Sauce is home safe after a little over 24 hour disappearance. His owner was quick to hire us and didn’t wait, which resulted in a success. We came out with Mildred and she narrowed down an area for us to focus in. Sauce has a medical condition that is life or death without medication so we are so glad he’s back inside. Sauce is an indoor only cat the door accidentally blew open with the wind. And he is getting a gps collar now just incase this ever happens again!

Welcome home Shirley from Hanson! After 6 days missing! She got out accidentally by a window. After 4 days her owner seen her run under her porch. Where i instructed her to barricade her under there and we flushed a trap as the only way out. And for two days Shirley was not accepting this idea. Even with hot food heated up in the trap around the clock for her. Given the amount of time she was in there and how cold it was I decided it was a good time now to just demolish the deck and get her out. Even though doing it this way is dangerous it’s also dangerous to keep her under a deck for a long time. The family’s friend Daryl came over with tools and we worked together making several cuts into the deck and I was finally able to grab her and bring her back inside. She’s now nice and warm and has a fully belly 🐱♥️

NICKY UPDATE:

“Nicky today (Dec 😎. Doing good. Much stronger. Really hard time getting him to eat now though. Will be getting mirtazapine tomorrow so hopefully that helps. I have so many different kinds of opened cat cans, baby food, slices of meat but none are appealing to him. Very frustrating but from what I have read, not unusual”

Mamouth from Holbrook is trapped and safe back inside the house where he belongs! The door blew open almost 2 weeks ago and he got out by accident. His owner tried things on his own but nothing worked until he hired us on the case. We are so happy he is back home and safe. 🥳

Welcome home robin from east greenwhich! 3 days on the run! Our bloodhound found her in a rock crevice and I set a trap as we couldn’t reach her. These boulder piles have crazy tunnel systems usually it’s impossible for me to take the cat home from one of these. I came back at night and checked the pile with the drone bc she hadn’t gone in the trap and she was still there and started walking around the woods. We followed her for over an hour until she started heading back to the deck where the door was open and she walked in so we rushed out of the car and shut all the doors from the outside and she was safely secure. 🙌

Nicky is the definition of a true survivor and a strong boy with the will to live! although he still has a road to recovery he does not require hospitalization any longer. We are so thankful to Ocean State Veterinary Specialists and Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment & Specialties in grafton, doctors and nurses and staff for there care to Nicky during his recovery process.

First I want to say WOW!!! We reached our goal of $8,000 and it wouldn’t have been possible with out all of you. So THANK YOU THANK YOU!

The new update is this, ocean state has done all they could. His blood is dropping even after transfusion and wants to consider euthanasia, but we still do not have an answer as to why he is actually anemic. After chatting with Karen Nicky’s owner we decided it would be best if we transferred him to an even higher ranked hospital. So we are now going to Tufts in Grafton where they have blood specialists. Although we don’t want Nicky to suffer, his mom wants a second opinion before making a decision such as end of
Life. Nicky has made it this far and we both believe he can do it!!

I have raised the goal as we are now going even higher in bills for Nicky. And we hope tufts in grafton can figure this out and his owner feels comfortable with whatever decision she makes.

I need your help!!!
Friends, followers, ALL ANIMAL LOVERS.

Nicky was my case two months ago. We went out to look for him but we had so many obstacles we couldn’t fly bc of an air port and out of the 20 something doors I knocked on to get permission to search the property I was turned down by 90% of them making my chances for success down to the 5%. It absolutely broke my heart that this area did not care. Fast forward to now Nicky was found likley trapped in a shed or basement we aren’t really sure but he is skin and bones he has blindness from starvation syndrome and showing neuro signs, he’s anemic and first transfusion is not taking well, and severe organ damage. He is fighting for his life. His owner has already paid what she could but he has to stay longer so the bill is going a lot higher now. I want to do everything i can do help including donating myself to his recovery fund. And if you animal lovers can help to I’d greatly appreciate it. Nicky deserves a fighting chance!!

Any of you out there like myself who feed a feral cat colony always worries when one disappears. Now I’m talking about cats that do not care to be domesticated or “owned”.

I’ve been feeding for roughly 8 years and I have a camera on my food bowl so I can see what’s going on, is any of them missing, newbies or maybe injured.

Speidi has been at my feed station for roughly 6 and a half years. She went missing for the first time in April. I did my normal looking around, flying the drone on several occasions day and night and hung up posters and utilized game cameras to try and generate my own sightings, no I did not use a dog to help me find her because I don’t have a scent item as she lives outside. But this all lead me no where until yesterday. She came back to my food dish after 7 months gone. Point of the story here is never give up. Cats are super resilient and more people give up the search because they have no evidence of the cat but cats are truley remarkable animals and have survival skills that amaze me.

Tara went missing one week ago. The family tried all the basic steps on their own to find the cat like setting up cameras and traps and walking around the neighborhood at night with no success. They decided to hire us for more help. I came out there and flew the drone around for a few hours with no luck. The owners told me there is a pipe in the back yard for drainage but they didn’t see the cat. I went over there and obviously did not see it either but I don’t care if I physically see a cat or not I look for evidence and go from there so I did see his fur on the rim of the tube. So I proceeded to see where this drain went to. And it was the street man hole. I said to the owner let’s just open it so we got a crow bar and lifted the grate and there she was! Better yet hanging out down there with a skunk! After about an hour I went in there and got the cat. And of course I could never close the grate and leave a trapped skunk so I did go in and grab the skunk and brought him up to, he sprayed down there and I do smell like a skunk 😂 but I’m glad both cat and skunk will not die in there now. 🦨🐈
