We hit another trifecta! Patience paid off! Not only were Jacob and Justin adopted together - they got to bring their foster sister, Punkin, with them!
These three foster kids have landed in very capable, loving hands. Their new guardians recently lost their 3 cats due to old age, so they had room in their hearts and home for these 3. How wonderful that they all get to stay together! We couldn't be happier for them! 🐾💛🧡🖤💕

Are these all for me? 🎁😍👀 Thank you so much, Patrice!! 🤩💖🎉

We put food out at night for the strays and ferals in our neighborhood. We kept hearing a cat yowling at night and thought there may be a female in heat, so the trap was set.
This cat was pretty angry and feisty, so we thought it would most likely remain feral. He spent a few days in the bathroom while we awaited our vet appointment. The poor guy was terrified!
When we picked the cat up from the vet, we learned he was a boy! So, we put him into a crate where he could recover from his surgery in peace. The vet guessed he is 9 months old.
Truth be told, we were having a hard time releasing him back into the triple-digit heat and with him being so young, We felt bad he would have to deal with the challenges and hardships of being an outdoor kitty. He didn't seem aggressive towards other cats so, we decided to let him loose in the house.

We hand out Bench & Field cat treats to the cats who have grown to expect them daily. When we would give Grayson his share, we would try to pet him as much as we could. Every day, we pushed it a little more and tried to pet him longer. If we moved too quickly he would bolt but, he stuck around because he loves those treats! Eventually, Grayson decided he liked to be pet and even wanted to be pet before we gave him the treats! This gave us hope!

We are so proud of him and just delighted that Grayson is now a totally, normal pussycat! He transformed into a lovebug and has been adopted into his forever-loving home!! 😻

Harrison is doing really well! He has started grooming himself and his coat looks better each day! He has even started playing with toys! He's got a pretty chill personality and he follows his foster mom around the house, everywhere she goes! This guy is going to make a fantastic companion for some lucky person!
He is scheduled for his surgery at the end of the month and will be available shortly after that! 💛🧡❤️

What a little poser! We went to take some pictures of our little foster girl for her Petfinder listing and she kept changing positions every few seconds. Each pose was cuter than the last. Who knew Punkin was a supermodel??! 🐾💛🧡💕

We had to cancel his vet appointment last week. We want to get him to a full-service vet when we can afford it because he is missing patches of fur. For now, we took him to the low cost clinic. They said he's 1-4 years old. They vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped him. They suggested bloodwork before his neuter surgery, which can only be done at a full-service vet...

We leave food and water out nightly for our neighborhood ferals and strays. Last night, a weary, orange cat showed up for the first time. He allowed us to pet him so, we knew he was not feral and therefore didn't belong on the streets. So we swooped him up, brought him inside, and set him up in a kennel. After eating his dinner, the poor guy just fell fast asleep.
All we know about him so far is that he is a sweetheart, he's been on the streets for a long time since he's so skinny and dirty. He looks like he's been beaten up a few times by our neighborhood ferals, and he is not neutered or microchipped.
We've named him Harrison. He's scheduled to see the vet on Friday. We look forward to learning more about him and getting him dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

We literally had an adoption in the morning and took Harrison in the same night! Pictures were taken when we brought him in. His kennel now has a small cat tree, bowls, and a comfy bed.

We're hoping this will be the beginning of a much better life for Harrison! If you are able to contribute to Harrison's expenses, we'd greatly appreciate it! Remember our foster kitty, Cookie? We rescued her from a man who was threatening to throw her outside while we were experiencing triple-digit heat.
Look at her now! Her new mom clearly loves her and spoils her to pieces! She also has a new BFF in canine form!
We love seeing our previous fosters happy and loved in their new homes! Many thanks to Cookie's mom for the updates! 💖
