The more we get to know Cookie, the more amazed we are with her gentle, sweet demeanor! Cookie had a bad reaction to her vaccines so we took her back to the vet 6 days afterwards. She was injected with an antiinflammatory and an antibiotic at the vet and we were sent home with a topical and an oral medication to administer ourselves. Cookie has got to be the easiest cat we have ever had to medicate! She's such an easy-going girl and we are delighted to report she has fully recovered! 💖

Petfinder.com recently upgraded their login system which left us unable to log in at all for a few days. This has been resolved.
Today, we noticed Cookie had two inquiries on Petfinder unfortunately, we did not receive any of them. If you are interested in adopting this incredibly loving sweetheart, we urge you to email: [email protected] until we get this resolved as well.

Frankie and Jimbo's new parents had never had their own kitties before. They became cat lovers after cat-sitting for their friends several times. Thankfully, they decided they needed their own kitties to share their home and hearts with! It's great to see how spoiled their boys are! Knowing these sweethearts were found on the streets and are now, cherished, beloved family members is truly heartwarming❣❣ We are always so grateful to receive updates on our foster kids! We couldn't be happier for Frankie and Jimbo❣❣

On occasion, we check postings on social media and Craigslist because some of our most vulnerable and most in need end up being dumped there. How we wish we could help them all! This time we found someone threatening to turn a one-year-old cat loose while it was 114 degrees outside!
We couldn't imagine this sweet, young girl having to fend for herself on the harsh streets of downtown Las Vegas during this heatwave - especially coming from the comforts of being an indoor-only cat. The original owner planned to turn her loose because his two dogs "kept trying to tear her apart." But, he still insisted on a $100 "rehoming fee." We didn't want her to suffer so, we paid up and brought her into our foster care.
We have since learned Cookie is one of the sweetest, most loving, and affectionate Torties we have ever met! We took her to the vet for a check-up, had her brought up-to-date with vaccines, and had her microchipped. She's a happy and healthy girl!
This sweetheart is now looking for her second chance at happily ever after, in a loving home where she no longer needs to deal with dogs who aren't cat-friendly!
Whoever welcomes her into their home will be forever blessed with unconditional love and loyalty! Cookie has so much love to give❣😻🐾

Our little foster babies had their first trip to the vet! They were dewormed, received their first vaccine and were microchipped. They're happy to be back home after that!

Some of you may remember our little foster boy, Jimbo. He is the son of a stray cat, Maisie whom we took in with his three siblings. Jimbo adapted to indoor life quickly, he blossomed into a real sweetheart and had so much fun running around and playing with Frankie!
Frankie is another stray cat we fostered after he leaped into one of our volunteer's car when she went to get an oil change. It was a freezing cold, rainy day when she saw Frankie in the parking lot. Thinking he may be feral, she was planning to leave some food for him but, Frankie wanted more than food! He wanted out of the pouring rain out of that busy parking lot and into a warm home where he could feel safe! When she opened her car door, Frankie leaped in!
We got Frankie neutered, chipped, and vaccinated as we did with Maisie and her four kittens. Frankie came to us with an injury on his leg. He was given antibiotics and we put an antibiotic cream on his wound. He healed up perfectly! As Frankie relaxed and adjusted to indoor life, we quickly learned what a lovebug he truly is!
We are so happy to report that Jimbo and Frankie were adopted together! They now have two wonderful parents and a safe, stable loving home to call their own!

We can't save all of the kitties in need but, for those we can, their world is forever changed❣🐾

Our little foster babies are so sweet and loveable! They are already rolling over for belly rubs! They are all eating a mixture of 2nd stage kitten formula with canned kitten food. You probably noticed they are wearing different colored collars. They are there so we can tell them apart and monitor their weight. They all get weighed daily to ensure they steadily gain weight...and we are happy they are! Please feel free to suggest some names for these little love nuggets❣

Good afternoon! I want to apologize for not posting in a super long time. I had been dealing with some health issues that made it painful to sit at the computer for long. I never stopped rescuing and caring for our fosters and feral colony cats. I just stopped posting about them. Thankfully, I'm now feeling much better! So, this means I have a lot of updates coming your way!

We'll start with our four newest foster kittens. We want to thank Monique and her beautiful daughter who brought us these four little love nuggets and kindly gave a donation towards their care! We thank them for making a positive difference in their lives! They are only about 5 weeks old. We'll ensure these precious babies get fully vetted and land in forever-loving homes❣

Update on our mama kitty, Maisie: We could tell she wasn't feeling well for a few days after her spay surgery and vaccines and preferred her kittens not to bother her, so we kept her in a large kennel in the same room as them.

We had some bedding on the floor of her kennel but, she kept on shoving it aside and lying on the bare floor so, we took it out.

I'm not a fan of putting clothes on cats but, we wanted to make sure the site of her incision remained clean and healed well.

As soon as she was feeling much better, we let her out of her kennel and didn't want her kittens to try to nurse from her so, she will be wearing her recovery suit for a couple more days while she continues to heal. Her four kittens are all eating regular kitten food so, there's no need for them to try to suckle anyway.

We've been checking her incision daily and she looks like she's healing up very nicely!

The man who called us about her and her kittens needing rescue said he removed a flea collar from her. Sadly, it looks like someone put a flea collar on her when she was much younger and smaller and then she somehow ended up outside - perhaps she escaped when she was in heat - but, she ended up pregnant and now seems to have a permanent ring around her neck from wearing a collar that was far too small. We're hoping her fur will grow back in but, most importantly we're hoping she is on her way to a much safer, healthier way of life where she will be loved as an indoor cat❣️

P.S. We are in need of fosters! We are in need of cat whisperers who can help Maisie's spicy kittens become more trusting of humans! They're approximately 9 weeks old. We cover and provide all food and medical.

Twix has been adopted! Twix moved to Las Vegas with his elderly parents after they had taken him in as a stray in Los Angeles. A few of the other neighborhood strays used to pick on Twix (see his torn ears) so, he decided he didn't like other cats.
He loved his new, indoor life, living in a nice, big home where he felt safe and had people who cared about him. Unfortunately, everything changed once they all moved to Vegas.

Twix's parents moved into their son's small casita and soon developed allergies they had never had before. The main house already had cats living inside, so that wasn't an option for Twix. Since their living quarters were now small, they moved Twix outside, where he was kept in a large cage.

Although Twix now hated other cats, he still loved dogs! We were so fortunate to find him a new home where not only would he have another couple to care for him but, they also had a senior, blind dog who needed a new best friend!

As soon as we opened up the carrier, Twix stepped out, started walking around, and met his new canine friend! Their dog had recently lost his feline friend and was really depressed. As soon as the dog knew Twix was in his home, he started following Twix around, tail-wagging the whole time! He was so happy! It was as if they had always been friends and we knew Twix was right where he was meant to be!!

We are so glad you have found your forever-loving home where all of your needs will be met! We wish you a long, happy life, Twix!!

Our most recent rescue, Maisie is being spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped today. The poor girl looks so worried. It's the first time she's been separated from her kittens. She did well, and remained calm, though. She's going to make a great companion once this is all behind her!

We get requests daily to help homeless cats in need. All of them seem more desperate than the last and every call for help pulls at our heartstrings! How we wish we could help them all!!
Tonight we were asked to help a mother cat and her four kittens. Unfortunately, they were born in a shed behind someone's house and the owner didn't realize this until they were all close to being 8 weeks old. We knew immediately, these five cats were in need of rescue as most rescues wouldn't consider such a labor-of-love and expensive undertaking. Two of the kittens are very sweet and cuddly but, their siblings are fearful of humans.
Our plan is to get momma spayed and have her and her kittens vaccinated, de-wormed and micro-chipped within the next few days.
We feel these innocent, sentient beings deserve a fighting chance at having a long and happy life simply because we have a strong reverence for life!! No one wishes to be born into rough circumstances.

If you are able to foster we'd be so grateful! Fostering the tame kittens will help us devote more time to the unsocialized kittens OR if you'd like to help socialize the less tame ones - whether you have experience or not, we'd be grateful for your help!! Please reach out to us!! 💖

We want to thank Lisa, Patrice, and Tricia for their generosity and compassionate hearts!! Between these three amazing women, they pretty much covered our cat food bill for a month!! Words can not express how appreciative we really are! We are currently caring for 30 cats and kittens whose expenses add up quickly! Thank you for helping us help them!! And thank you for being part of the solution❣💝😊🐱🐾
