If you are looking to add an adult Buhund to your life there are 7 going into rescue in Oregon shortly. As far as I am aware, the last Buhunds to enter rescue was in 2016 so now is your chance to adopt an adult.

Ace and I met up with a dog-friendly hiking group and our friend Sarah today. We hiked 3.77 miles inside the Proud Lake State Recreation Area and then Ace cooled off in a pond with his new dog friends. It was a great time!

It is hard to believe our Matron Bu, Phoenix will be 8 years old in April. Here she is as a young puppy, way back when the backyard actually had grass. She is playing with my Catahoula, Indy. Indy was trained as a service dog and dealt with her puppy antics with great patience and passed many good behaviors to Phoenix that she has since passed on down through her puppies and grand puppies. In 2025/2026 I will be getting into my 3rd generation decended from Phe.

Hanging out with Flip on his 4th Birthday (yesterday). We are very excited to have found a home for this lovely boy and he will be heading to his new family in January!
