would anyone happen to be interested in an adult male white button quail?(I would need proof of you currently having button quail i will not rehome him to be alone, i'm only willing to rehome him so he has companions!) or would anyone within like an hour to hour and a half of Oldham County KY happen to have any adult females available (will take extra males with females if needed). my female passed away recently, and my male is alone and keeps calling out and needs companionship ASAP they are flock animals and shouldn't be alone. so one way or another, he needs friends and soon!

our derby babies 🩵 I'm unsure if any of these babies will be available, but this is the start of one of our showable lines, currently this particular litter and their babies will onmy be suitable for 4H and not big shows like ARBA due to mom doesn't have a pedigree but their grandkits will have 3 gens thus be showable for larger shows 🥰

daily dose of cute 😍. some chicks we hatched out of our pretty rainbow eggs, these will be F1 or F2 olive eggers.
WE DO OFFER HATCHING EGGS! here's the types we have.
BUTTON QUAIL (aka Chinese painted quail) $10 for a dozen
BLACK SLATE TURKEY- $20 half dozen, only doing half dozens right now and will need to know a week in advance, these will be limited.
CHICKEN- $20 dozen $10 half dozen, you will get rainbow layers, you have a chance to get pure bantam ameraucana or F1 and F2 olive eggers and possibly others.
we have 2 different pens, eggs will be collected from both pens and are hens choice.
one pen has a bantam silver ameraucana rooster over bantam silver ameraucana hen, bantam cochinXbantam ameraucana cross hen, and 2 olive egger hens.
2nd pen has a white bantam ameraucana rooster over bantam blue ameraucana hens, bantam cochin hen, hyline brown hens, marans hen, splash ameraucana hens, easter egger hens, olive egger hens, red laced red Wyandotte hen.

PSA bunny waitlist families!!
if you were on my waitlist please PM me, this year the best way to get a bunny is to be on the waitlist as waitlist gets to pick before I allow the public to. yesterday I paired a lionhead and a dutch! unfortunately things will have to be a bit slow this year on the bunnies since I can currently only pair who I have pedigrees on (I still haven't gotten anymore updates on my computer) so I won't have meny litters till late summer into fall. I do have a lionhead litter on the ground now, but there is only 3 kits and one is pending then I'll be keeping one so if any are available it would only be one, it will be a showable color.

BRE fam, I've had a couple questions and stuff be asked by multiple people so just wanted to address those.
1st I'm getting several people asking about rats, I currently do not have any available, and unfortunately i don't know when i will have any available. i have several pairings right now so I'm waiting to see if they will result in babies, i cannot guarantee that even if i have babies that any will be pet quality, I've had several litters born but majority haven't been pet quality so they weren't released to the public. also I'm currently not selling to breeders as I'm working on stabalizing my new lines and outcross lines. by some miracle both pairs I had available were reserved Saturday night and went home Sunday afternoon, i'm extremely thankful to their new families 🩵.
2nd unfortunately I have still not heard back on my computer so I have no update on if all my stuff can be saved or not, please keep your fingers crossed, sending good vibes, and prayers that it is! but as of right now I don't know anything, I appreciate all the patience and understanding while we try and figure this out, also please continue to share the adoptables album, if my stuff can be recovered i will owe at least $500 and well your girl doesn't have that kinda cash sitting around so all the shares and support help so much!

ATTENTION INFORMATION
since it's that time of year again and 4Hers are out looking for their 2024 4H projects, most 4H groups go by the ARBA SOP, so if you and your child are new to 4H/showing rabbits/the breed your child is interested in, I HIGHLY suggest you get this book or look up with the SOP for the breed they are interested in is and sit down with your child and go over that there are people who will just sell you anything, and this year I'd like to not be accused of selling someone a rabbit for 4H that wasn't a showable color(I wasn't aware that's what they wanted I was told for a pet and breeding and told nothing about 4H or showing) 80% of what I breed and post is NOT suitable for 4H due to color, while I strive for SOP in every other way with my breeds (and yes its still a work in progress) I just am not a huge fan of the showable colors. this year I will have a few potentially show quality lionheads but they will be listed with somthing stating so.

Okay, BRE fam! below, I am putting the ARBA, SOP(show of potential), and showable colors for each of the breeds I raise - Dutch and Lionhead. this is for anyone interested in showing either breed OR for those like me who want to better their non-show color stock. this is the updated version as of October 2023. The ARBA convention was just held this month here in Louisville. I do follow both my breeds 'breed clubs'. If you are interested in a particular breed, I HIGHLY suggest you follow their breed club! ALL of this information can be found in the ARBA Standard of Perfection book, aside from the new colors that COD's we're just approved! i will post a link for the book at the end.

🔵SOP FOR THE DUTCH RABBIT BREED
Dutch are a small to medium rabbit they should not exceed 5.5lbs full grown(they are considered a dwarf breed, there is no dwarf or standardverity separation). Dutch is a 4-class breed. Junior bucks and does are those under 6 months of age with a minimum weight of 1.75 lbs (0,793 kg). Seniors are 6 months of age and over, weighing between 3.5 (1,58 kg) and 5.5 lbs (2,48 kg), with 4.5 (2,04 kg) being the ideal weight. Dutch should have a compact, well-rounded body; rounded head; short, stocky, well-furred ears; and short, glossy "flyback" fur. As for markings, the blaze is an even wedge of white running up the rabbit's face. It is shaped by the cheeks, which are the rounded circles of color on either side of the face. The neck marking is a white wedge on the back of the head. The saddle is to be a straight line running behind the shoulders and continuing underneath the rabbit to the undercut across the belly. The stops are located on the rear feet, which should be white from the toes to a point one-third the length of the foot.

it's that time of year, I'm opening the bunny waitlist. I currently have paired 2 lionheads, and I'm looking to see what dutch I want to pair. if you want to get on the waitlist, you'll need to message us and let us know color varieties and gender you're looking for. this is the best way to try and get what you're looking for, ESPECIALLY if you want females! they always go quick. babies will be born in April and ready sometime in may.
