A woman who was a friend to Hope for Animals, recently passed away. We are trying to find a loving home for her two cats. We thought we had found the perfect family for them, but unfortunately, two family members became allergic to them. The family was heartbroken as were the cats.

These cats have been bounced around since the death of their person. First to the person who took care of them, then to this family, and now they're back where they started with no family to love on them.

Let me introduce you to the cats - Opie and Niko. They are like brothers and are inseparable.

Opie is the orange and white kitty and he's 7.5 years old. He looks very worried in this photo, and he can't be blamed for feeling this way. Niko is also male and he's 9 years old. He's being strong for Opie in the photo. These cats are extremely loveable!

Hopefully, if enough people see these two handsome boys, someone will fall in love with them and adopt them into their family.

R.I.P Carrie-Ann Beatrice, 20 years old, last of my rescue litter, we had her since she was 7 weeks old. She was the bossiest, most stubborn, most vocal, and sometimes the grumpiest of cats, yet over her 20 years became so loving and a total lap cat. When my husband became disabled 4 years ago, she couldn’t understand it and would stand on our bed on a daily basis, up in his face, screeching her displeasure. She was furious that she could no longer attempt to trip him when he walked around. We are bereft at her passing, our last baby who took care of us so well, and has left a huge hole in our lives.

We lost our beautiful boy, Virgil Hilts, this week and we are so sad. He was twenty years old and although we’ve had him since he was 5 weeks old, it seems like it was a blink of an eye. Virgil was the best boy and although for many years he was almost feral, in the last 5 years he had blossomed and become the ultimate sweetest lap cat. We will miss him so.

Looking for fosters for 5 month old kittens. Must have large crate and separate room to socialize them. Probably best to work with them separately.

Shown below are both female.

Dixon - all black, shy, a little scared, but likes to be petted, will hiss when nervous, but not aggressive.

Doogan - black and white, loves to be petted, very playful, loves other cats, gives love bites, but not hard.

Both kitties have been inside for 3 weeks. The are spayed, vaccinated, initial testing for FIV/FLV, stool samples negative, treated for fleas/ticks.

They need someone experienced to work with them so they can be adopted.

Please PM serious inquiries only. Home visit required.
