So if you're wondering how Laska's been doing since her surgery back in January, she is back to being a full out onry husky again!! 🤦 🤣🤣Not even 10 minutes into our morning walk and she's wrapped the leash around me twice, pulled me into a stop light pole, tried to eat the backbone of some dead animal and got me yelling at her because she tangled up me and Brother Taz(the 110 pound lap dog Anatolian Shepherd) in both leashes and stood there grinning at me like it's really funny at 530 in the morning! 🤦🤦🤦🤣🤣🤣 It's way to early for this!!! 😂😂I love my dog, I love my dog, I love my dog........(keep repeating randomly as I trip over her again)

I went to let my dog's out at 4am and this one was curled up on our porch. She's our neighbors puppy, think maybe about 8 or 9 months old. And she loves climbing over the fence in the back. They even have it at 6foot and this puppy just climbs it anyway. She loves to come over and visit with my dog's. They get annoyed because she has soooooo much energy! LoL.

Laska, on the right with her leg in the air, and Taz, snoozing on top of the pillows and blankets on the left, are enjoying relaxing on the bed. Laska's been doing really well since surgery. Bandage is off and her wound looks really good. I have a blow up collar and also her "cone of shame" to wear when necessary, otherwise she goes without and is doing really great no licking her wound. Love these guy's!! Such goofballs! 🐾🐾💕💕💕💕

She's not a happy camper. Lol They did a good job, but it was way different than the place in the Springs where she had her left one done while being fostered, both with the medicine and with the rehab. I'm going to combine the rehab from both places where she needs it. Like they want me to take her for 10 min walks starting Saturday. I'm doing 5 min walks. Just little things like that. No biggie. Lol. Just different. And I'm not going to rush her. Lol

She's comfy in her bed in the living room and I get the recliner for the next few nights. 😜😁😂🐾🐾💕💕

Ok! Laska's ready for surgery this morning! We will be leaving in a while. I've been up since 330. Lol. I always stress over stuff like this. I have her and Taz and the cat, DC, following me around this morning practically glued to me. 😂 Think they know something's up.

Miss Goofy butt Laska's surgery has been rescheduled for next Wednesday instead of tomorrow. They did not have the plate they needed for her leg. I have to say, thank goodness because we are supposed to get snowed on pretty good and I really don't like driving in it. So we are looking to update next Wednesday!! ❄️❄️☃️🐾🐾

We are done doing the GoFundMe ! Yippee!! I have a donor who is funding the rest of the surgery for Laska. They wish to remain anonymous, but they are really awesome for doing this! I don't think they know or understand how much this took so much stress off me when I had to ask strangers for help I am truly grateful!! So we are good to go this upcoming Wednesday, the 18th! I told her the good news and she's a happy fluffybutt!! Thank you everyone for helping us get towards our goal!! YIPPEE!!

😆 Laska wishes everyone a very Happy New Year! This is her face of "Mom! Stop taking my picture! I'm full and it's naptime!" 😁😂 she just finished her breakfast and because it's the 1st day of the year and she has been doing really good with her diet while she is waiting for her surgery, she got salmon skins mixed in with her kibble. LOL. She's a happy husky!!

Taz and the cat, D.C. Taz is an Anatolian Shepherd and a big ol' goofball who loves to snuggle up with the cat when I'm not looking. 😂😂 I sneak pictures of them snoozing away next to each other. (And yes, I am aware that Taz is overweight. He is currently on a diet to help. Not to mention a thyroid issue going on.) 💕💕

Update: I got Laska in on Wednesday, 11/30, for her blood work and got results back late Thursday afternoon. Everything is good and normal so no damaging liver or anything else with the Rimadyl. So she will be ready to go for her surgery January 18th. I also refilled her medications so she will be good for another month.

THANK YOU for all your help!! I got an Okay to go ahead and add on both of Laska's vets so donations can also go directly to them as well to make sure her surgery and medications are covered since some feel uncomfortable with the gofundme. I understand!
So for her medications and blood work ups to make sure the Rimadyl isn't damaging her liver, her regular vet is Rising Sun Animal Care, 100 Spruce St #106, Denver 80230 , Dr Miller, 303-577-0195 under my name and hers, Stephanie Ilk (divorced last name) and Laska.
Her orthopedic vet for her surgery is WellHaven Pet Health,10016 Commons St, Lone Tree 80124, Dr Kohen, 303-396-6136. It is also under my divorced last name ( Ilk) and Laska's.

Update: We are getting there! I am calling Monday(28th) to schedule Laska's blood workup so we can make sure she is still doing good. Please help by sharing our fundraiser. I really appreciate all the donations. This fluffybutt is amazing and I need to make sure she will keep being my service animal with getting her fixed up.
