Rescues Eeyore (purple) and ButterSnaps (red) sporting their new raincoats thanks to your donations! We would have to assume that Eeyore has never worn a jacket/blanket before and we are certain that Buttersnaps hasn't either as he was quite feral when he was originally rescued from a kill pen sadly about to be sold and shipped to China for his hide. We introduced the jackets to them gradually, allowing them to sniff and nuzzle them first. But once we got them on they just wanted to RUN! We let them get used to the sound and feel for a couple of hours in a smaller barn area before the forecasted rain finally started.

We're so glad we were able to participate in National Animal Rights Day (NARD) this week. Thanks for having us! Our goats certainly enjoyed all the kisses and treats...........
