Unfortunately mom and dad received bad news about me this morning.

I have Metastatic Mast Cell Cancer.

My first veterinarian mis-diagnosed me. Or really didn’t diagnose me because she couldn’t do the test right. So my parents found my original doctor and she got the test right on the first try and called mom and dad today to let them know.

We don’t really know how much longer I will have here with them. It could be next week or it could be a month from now.

We are beyond trying treatment since this has spread throughout my body. I am also 10 years old and diabetic. It would hurt me more than help me.

Mom and dad are devastated and heart broken.

They will keep you up to date on what is going on.

Guess who is turning double digits tomorrow? That would be me, Daisy Doo!

I am still doing pretty well. Got my diabetes under control and I am still really active. But I am kinda slow sometimes… unless dad drops a cracker on the floor. Gotta be quick there.

We celebrated with the whole family last Sunday and we had a taco bar. No taco for me since I gotta watch what I eat. But it was nice everyone came over and celebrated early.

It’s been awhile since we posted but I am still around.

Been sleeping a lot tonight until Mom woke me up and took my picture.

I am turning 10 this year, later in September. I was also recently diagnosed with diabetes so it’s been a struggle getting my glucose under control.

And I moved to some place called Mini-soda. That may not be how to spell it. I am just a dog you know.

I am doing good and so hope you are too.

PS I wear a shirt to keep my glucose monitor on so it doesn’t come off. ♥️
