Cauzican Care We are an all volunteer based 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that rescues animals in Crawfordville, FL and surrounding areas. All expenses are paid.

We are a no-kill rescue that serves to help bring awareness to the animals of Wakulla County that are located in their rural shelter. CCAR networks the various animals that are not able to readily get adopted along with the fur babies in our foster group. These animals are courtesy posted and are not in our care, unless specifically listed as a foster. We do not have a physical facility and rely s

olely on foster homes. CCAR is also teamed up with PetSmart, 1759 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL (850.688.1002) in networking & housing kittens and cats. FOSTERS: Cauzican Foster Dogs is our sister organization and have a separate page. They help pull animals from various shelters in Wakulla County and surrounding counties when they have available fosters. Cauzican Foster Dogs operate exclusively through foster homes in the Tallahassee and Crawfordville areas. If you are interested in becoming a foster for us, simply send an email to [email protected] or message them through their FB Page or use the application tab on our page! VOLUNTEERS: We are always in need of caring individuals to help with various tasks that range from organizing adoption events to performing home visits for potential adopters. Please email [email protected] for a foster application that will allow us to assess your interests and which area you would enjoy most :)

‼️❤️‼️❤️ Artimus (f) and Orion (m) are mastiffs that were pulled from a bad situation, and are now located at the Wakulla Animal Services in Crawfordville, FL. 850-926-0902. This environment is very scary to these two so if you are big dog lover or rescue please help these fur babies. They are approximately 2 yrs old and sweet. Thank you!!

Sadly her foster moms schedule gets super hectic during the summer and we NEED AN IMMEDIATE FOSTER who is home most of the time. Tally is a sweet girl who gets along well with dogs and cats. Please consider helping us. Adoptions are so very slow right now and we need help!!!!

💕💕 Misha came from a hoarding case in Wakulla County and has been getting spoiled by her adopter. She has just finally completed her heartworm treatment. Here she is resting in her bed following treatment. Thanks to everyone that supports our Bingo medical fund. Without our village, we would not be able to help and save these fur babies. 💕💕

💕💕 Gidget, the 12 yr fur baby, has left the Wakulla County Animal Adoption Center and is currently with Cauzican Foster Dogs. She will be going in for a health checkup this week but we are hopeful all will be well, and we will find her a quiet furever home. We are thankful to all of our fosters who allow us to make this happen 💕💕
