Mademoiselle, une ch**te âgée de 5 ans, s’est retrouvée à la SPCA de Montréal à la suite du décès de son humaine il y a quelques semaines. C’est un membre de la famille de la défunte qui est venu nous la confier, dans l’espoir que nous lui trouvions un nouveau foyer aimant. Depuis ce jour, Mademoiselle attend une deuxième chance…

Chaque semaine, nous recevons des animaux de compagnie amenés par des familles endeuillées qui ne sont pas disposées à s’en occuper. Cela nous rappelle qu’il est essentiel de réfléchir à l’avenir de nos petits compagnons après notre départ. En l’absence de dispositions claires, ceux-ci pourraient être confrontés à des situations stressantes, comme se retrouver dans un refuge pendant plusieurs mois sans être choisis par une nouvelle famille.😔

Discutez de cette éventualité avec votre entourage et désignez une personne responsable qui prendra soin de vos petits protégés ou qui se chargera de leur trouver une nouvelle maison en votre mémoire. Savoir qu’ils recevront l’amour, les soins et l’attention dont ils ont besoin vous procurera la paix d’esprit et vous permettra de veiller à leur bien-être en continu, même après votre départ. Mademoiselle, a five-year-old cat, found herself at the Montreal SPCA after her human died. A relative of the deceased brought her to us, hoping she’d find a new home. Mademoiselle has since been waiting for several weeks now for her second chance...

PLAN TO ENSURE YOUR ANIMALS’ WELL-BEING

Every week, the Montreal SPCA takes in animals who have no where to go after their humans have died. This reminds us that it’s crucial to make plans to ensure our animals’ well-being after we’re gone. When we don’t leave clear instructions, our furry companions may end up in stressful situations, such as waiting in a shelter for several months to be chosen by a new family.😔

Talk with your loved ones and designate a relative who will take in your animal or find them a new home should you pass away. Knowing that your companion will receive love, care, and attention will give you peace of mind and allow you to care for them well in the here and now. Make sure they don’t have to wait, like Mademoiselle, who only wants to find a peaceful life once again...💔

Sweet Madeline's portrait is finished ❤️ I'd like to point out the use of a lot of purple color. Madeline has a severe heart condition that's why her ears turn purple. But thanks to dad Brandon, she is almost 3 years old now when she was only given 6 months to live. Thank you The Adventures of Grandpa Tripod for your dedication.
The painting will be shipped to Australia before the end of this week.

Coucou, moi c'est Max!!! Maxoune pour les intimes! Que dire sur moi à part que je suis dont beau? Je suis un chaton adorable de 5 mois! On me décrit comme un chaton très affectueux et zen. J'aime bien lécher vos mains pour vous montrer tout mon amour. J'étais peut-être un chien dans une autre vie! Je suis le partenaire parfait pour les soirées "Netflix and chill". Je suis un chaton facile à vivre qui s'adaptera bien. Ma famille idéale aura un arbre à chat et un ami félin pour moi! Je vous le dis, je suis un petit parfait!
