Hello friends of FB. I'm asking again if anyone can find it in their great BIG hearts to home this sweet older adult German Shepherd female. She is still be foster care and needs a forever home!She is about 6 years old and spayed. Fully trained, listens super well and is a sweetheart! She is great with humans and kids but not great with cats or other dogs. I think this is the reason she's been tough to home. Please share this post!

Nettleleaf Goosefoot is a highly poisonous plant and is toxic and deadly to horses. Please look in your pasture and your yard to make sure you do not have this invasive Australian plant.

This is just one of the many reasons why you should always ride on trail with your halter and Lead rope on your horse underneath their Bridle. I have rode this way for many years it never interferes with the bridle or bit. Trail riding is not a show arena nor is it a movie set

Making progress with Marley the Morgan

Marley is a Morgan gelding in training day #15. Watch Marley's progress in review from the past 2 weeks. Marley is NOT a wild mustang. He's already been ridden many many times before. Marley is a 12 year old Morgan gelding and is a re-train. He was ruined by his previous owner who taught him to misbehave and then reinforced this negative behavior making him a very dangerous and unsafe horse. They eventually gave up and dumped him. The new owners were kind enough to see past this and were smart enough to take this horse in and have him professionally re-trained. It is our goal to make him a safer horse for his new owners. Tim is doing an amazing job with this horse in the 2 weeks he's been with us. The first day he went to bucking immediately just when asking him to walk. Second day he went to rearing while being long-lined. 2 weeks later after continued patience and perseverance Tim was able to mount up in the saddle today calmly and peacefully. Marley is making great strides in his training and we do believe this horse can be saved. Please read post carefully and watch entire video before commenting. Long-lining - Horse Training

Marley the Morgan in Training. Today we long-lined Marley outside and off the property. He did fairly well. He had a few moments of insecurity. He didn’t have any blowups, however, he’s still very nervous and gets more nervous about standing in place. We took him around the horse trailer since this seems to be one of his nemesis. What is long-lining? We use long-lining to help horses understand the bit and to teach them a one rein stop if they have a blow up. We also use it so they can learn to be a more confident horse. It’s a much safer way to train a horse and safer for the trainer. If you can’t control them on the ground you won’t be able to control them in the saddle. Fallbrook ride

If you do not know This is 4940 he is a 5 years old. I really like the way he moves. When he is trotting and walking he picks up his hooves really nicely . I really like the way he Lopes as well. He needs a trainer that can work with him three times a day. I only have time to work with him once a day during the week and he regress quite a bit. He has a really nice back and has really nice confirmation. Currently he has not qualified yet through the tip program. To me he shows sign of insecurity. I'm going to keep working with him and put him up for adoption through the tip program.
