Opal was bitten by a snake on September 12th, 2014. This page, titled 'Opal's Journey', chronicled her recovery. Now it's about all of our cats.

The swelling, infection, and tissue damage caused by the snakebite left Opal's family with serious fears that she would lose her leg, or worse. Thanks to the dedicated treatment from the veterinarians at the Belton Small Animal Clinic in Belton, TX, she was able to rally and begin her recovery. Her healing will include re-growing a large amount of skin on that leg, and rebuilding the muscle tissue

Frank showing off his shaved leg from the vet visit yesterday. They knocked him out for a dental cleaning and that's where the IV went. Our old scrapper is missing a couple teeth, but good news from the vet as no extraction was needed. As Frank has gotten older, he sure has gotten more snuggly.
