Shadow is a traveling gal, who needs wings when Mommy can drive!?!
She's headed on a new camping adventure taking in the awesome Queen Elizabeth Park campground at Lac Cardnail Lake.

Camping is back in action for Shadow bird!
We have been down to the lake, been on hikes, visited a few people and went for a bike ride. I love that she can be apart of all these things!!

Well Shadow gave it the good ol' college try to hatch some eggs this year. She gave up one day before it hatched. So I popped the egg into the incubator.

After sitting a good bath is always needed! She doesn't often like spray bottle baths, usually choosing to come in the shower. However it was one of these rare days! 64 fl oz of water everywhere. 😆

It's that time of year again! Shadow laid her first egg of the season. Debating on what to let her incubate this year....

Yesterday was Shadow's 5 year gotcha day!
Hard to believe it's been 5 years. Some days feels like 50 years others 5 minutes.
We have had our ups and downs but I love this goofy bird.
Thank you Dr Tara for my crazy bird bird.
