I AM SO EXCITED for the brothers!!! “Ozee” had his first saddling and “Toad” stood tied with his 3rd ever haltering. I’ve done very little with the both of them and they amaze me every time. They are champs with their docility and smart noggins. 🥰

Edna officially has 10 rides since September, the latest 3 being at night in the calving shed. This little mare has been so special. She has a TON of feel, very smart, and loves cattle. And yes, I went back to riding her in the halter. I will be tapping into my arsenal of bits to find one she likes in her upcoming rides.

The first horse to pack my brand…Thank you for everything. We travelled many miles, won a few buckles, cowboyed a few cattle, started a lot of c**ts, and covered a lot of country. I will miss your nickers and cherish all the time we have spent together the last 9 years. Rest In Peace my big bay. ❤️

She did it again!! Another surprise baby and another stud c**t by OSR CATS TROJAN MAN. I’ve been battling a wound on this mare since December 19th (if you notice yet another chewed up bandage🙄). And this morning when I walked out to dress the bandage she had this little one running by her side.

“Ozee” is 2 yrs old today! He is now a gelding and wears the Bar T Diamond brand on his left thigh. What a neat little guy he is. He will start training under saddle late summer/fall and get added to the string. Happy Birthday 🥰

Hi folks! We are back! After almost a year of no posts on this page I thought I should check in. And I promise to be better about updates. 😉
“Kali” is bred for another OSR CATS TROJAN MAN foal. I got the opportunity to breed her back to “Jag” and I couldn’t resist! She’s due mid March but will likely carry over because that’s just what she does. 🤷‍♀️
I’m super excited for what’s coming and I can’t wait to share it all with you!

I had gave up on my mare as she was exactly a month past her due date. I ran into the barn quick first thing that morning of April 12th and this little bu**er had just hit the ground. Happy Birthday to this sweet thing! We have big plans for you “Ozee”!!!

BEE A DOCS HICKORY aka “Taz” was the first to wear the Bar T Diamond brand. He is such a special horse and will forever hold a very big piece of my heart.

March 20th was the official start of spring! And you know what that means… TICK SEASON!

This is just your friendly reminder to help out your critters. I have never had a huge problem with ticks but this year we have already found some on the horses. I normally put out the Equilix Horse Tub in the summer to help with fly control but this year I picked some up a little early.

You may notice the green sticker on the tub that reads “MADE WITH GARLIC”. The horses excrete the garlic through their pores and detours most blood sucking or biting external parasite.

These tubs are awesome! I have seen a major difference in my horses with summer flies. They are happier when they aren’t constantly swishing their tails. ☺️

Baby “Ozee” has finally made his journey into the adult world with halter breaking. For being completely untouched and running like a feral being all summer, he did great today. 🤣 He let me put the halter on like he gets haltered everyday. He is kind, gentle and of course very curious.

Remember!! “Ozee” is for sale as a stud prospect. But I will not complain if he stays at our place. 😏

2021 PENDING AQHA Red Dun Stud C**t. Really cool c**t that will make an excellent stud prospect. Should mature to about 15 HH. I plan on keeping this c**t for myself but as I give it more thought he would also be a great addition to a breeding program. I don’t have the means of keeping a stud around my place and therefore will offer him to the public only as a stud prospect. If he doesn’t sell as a stud, he will be gelded and I’ll add him to my string. Both mare and stud have great minds and this guy proves to have gotten those genetics every day. Stud has earnings in the cutting pen and he now is a ranch horse. Mare had some issues when I got her but has an incredible mind and came over those issues very quickly after getting into my program. She became a favorite very fast.

Remember when I said stay tuned for what was coming up?! Well the last couple weeks got away from me and I forgot to share! I picked up these gals and dove into getting their lives started! They are yearling 1/4 draft fillies with some CRAZY smarts! I’m serious, these gals are so so smart!!

The black filly had never been handled and the bay had very minimal handling. My dear friend came out to play with them for an afternoon with me. They are now coming a long very nicely in halter breaking and getting to know a flag.

He is getting so curious about everything and is a ton of fun. I should’ve videoed sooner as he was trying to catch the little tumbleweed in the tank 🤣he loves to splash his lips in the water too. I will have to get better about updates as he gets older!

“Ozee” (pronounced Oh-Zee) is now 4 days old and is cuter than ever! I’m still trying to find the perfect registered name for him but there’s plenty of time for that. As of right now I plan on keeping this guy and making a ranch versatility horse out of him. But I am VERY happy with how he turned out. 🥰

I got Miss “Kali” settled in the barn today! Her official due date is the 19th. She of course is on her own agenda of when she will actually have it 🤣 Her neighbors outside are the heifers and 3 yr olds left to calve that we bring in every night and the bums (she LOVES them🥰) are on the inside of the barn! I can’t wait to get this foal on the ground!!
