TNR INSTRUCTIONS
ALL CATS MUST COME IN A HUMANE TRAP. NO CARRIERS OR CRATES ALLOWED. ONE CAT PER TRAP. Please use only full size traps, no squirrel or small rodent traps. Cats recover inside the trap and we must be able to lay them out.
Please do not put anything in the trap
No bedding, blankets or towels in the trap! Food dishes etc. it will not be returned.
This program is for free roaming feral and barn cats. Cats MUST be released back on the property they were trapped. Cats may not be adopted out or given away.
Surgery includes:
Spay/neuter, microchip, rabies vaccine, distemper vaccine, flea treatment and their left eat will be tipped to identify they are part of the County program.
JULY TNR DATE WEDNESDAY 7/17/2024
Appointments not required, 1 cat per trap, please follow the instructions:
Drop off is on the day before.
Drop off is TUES July 16th up until 8 PM.
•Bring the cat(s) to 19309 Kishwaukee Valley Rd., Marengo.(fish mailbox, 4 green diamonds on post, long gravel drive)
•Be sure that the trap has your name on it
•Place the cat(s) in the trap on the p*e pad provided in the barn. Plastic side down
•Make sure it’s covered by a towel leave $55 on the top of the trap. Cash preferred but checks to ASAP ok. Cash because we will now be charged for debit card payments at the clinic. For multiple cats 1 check for the total.
•Text the following information at 847-490-5528 drop off day.

If you need to borrow a trap there is a $50
Refundable deposit
Just write a check and text what day you’re going to come and one will be set out for you.
