Ben Garson’s Story.
“It has been over a decade since I first decided to dedicate my life to dogs. Since then, I have worked in the veterinary field, co-founded a rescue that to date has saved over a thousand dogs, helped create and build Dogology, but most of all, spent uncountable hours helpings owners rehabilitate their dogs. I have been invited into your homes, schools, businesses and lives. I've had the privilege of speaking to so many incredible clients, companies, students, and organizations. It has brought me to different parts of the country and introduced me some of the most amazing animals on this planet. I have had a lot of help in doing all of this and owe a great number of people immense gratitude. This is still in its infancy, but, I am excited to begin a new venture, a new offering. Outriders Dogs will have two primary functions, one, with the help of Mike Ouellette, is to take dogs into our care who would otherwise be considered unfixable, and rehabilitate them. Dogs who need to learn how to be comfortable with other dogs, humans, and their everyday surroundings. The other is to, with the help of Rikki Silvester, provide rescue, foster and adoption for dogs in need. I am excited about the future of Outrider Dogs and the prospect of helping more dogs, more people, and the community at large.
