The Squashes 😍😍

Spaghetti, Butternut and Acorn, just about 8 weeks old and honestly, couldn’t tell you what breed they are!! What do you guys think??

Pupdate: We have been dealing with what we thought was mange, although was most likely just an infection. The hair loss didn’t spread more than just the tip of their tail and it’s already starting to grow back! We are waiting to ensure ultimate health before putting them up for adoption. We will be looking for fosters in the next week or so but are going to wait to get the all clear from the vet that there is no contagion before handing them off!

Introducing Delicata (Deli, for short) and her squash puppies, Spaghetti, Acorn and Butternut! 🍁🍂

Fall theme was the popular vote so we made it cute. 😊

Everyone is settling in really well, the pups are about 3.5 weeks old and exploring their new home/clumsily playing. Momma Deli has been a very sweet girl and lets us handle her and her pups no problem. We are just waiting for her to really start showing her personality because we know it’s in there.

For everyone interested, we have an update on The Den! We just had the inspection on the house and things are moving forward. Of course, we still have an insane amount of fundraising ahead of us. It’s been since April since we announced this crazy project and you guys came through and helped us raise $30k quickly. If you could help us out again, the Gofundme link is still very active and looking for any sized donations as often as you’re able. 🤍

We truly couldn’t make this a reality without each and everyone of you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and Deli and her babies are more than grateful for your support near and far. 😍

Have you ever wanted to hear Ben talk for hours about all things, some related to and some not so related to dog training? Yeah, me either but he decided to do a podcast anyways so we’re excited for him.

Please join us in listening to and following where our very own, Ben Garson and good friend Stephen Roth of talk about how they build meaningful relationships, raise open minded children, and navigate their careers in the rapidly changing world around them. The boys record the kinds of conversations they have about life and that other young people raising families might find entertaining and educational.

We are buying a house!!! And we need your help.

For years, we have been operating out of our own house, a very small team, one momma dog and her litter at a time. We are asked almost everyday if you can help, to walk the mom, to clean the pens, to socialize, but it has felt impossible to schedule all of that at our home. However, an opportunity that truly feels like fate, has fallen into our lap. A house, right next to our training facility, is being put on the market. This house will provide more space and more opportunities to do what we have put our everything into for the past 4 years, save more momma dogs and their litters, and so much more.

We will have monthly events, meetups and get togethers with our Outrider family, with corporate businesses, fellow small business partners, etc. You will finally get the chance to come and help first hand. Do you work remote? We will have Work from The Den opportunities where momma and her puppies will get to enjoy their day to day with the emotional support of all of us.

The sky is the limit with this house and we have never been more passionate and excited for the future of Outrider Dogs Rescue. Please help, please donate so we can attain this hefty goal.
