Kearney area!

Hey all! Please help make this a great push here in Kearney and surrounding communities. We are open for most services. We are offering pet wellness at a reduced cost. There are so many families in need out there and we want to reach out to help them. We are open for appointments this coming week, and can even do some this week as we are assembling the clinic. We are not opening with a strong curb appeal yet, but we can offer some budget relief to those with pets who need vaccines and wellness exams! Please share to get our community connected. Before you go out tonight and celebrate, please take the time to make sure your pets are safe.

Lock all gates and watch the exits closely, if you have guests over.
If you take your dog out to potty and fireworks are going off, keep them on a leash - even if you are in your own yard.

Make sure they are wearing a collar with up to date contact info!!! Even if you have to write it on their collar or use a piece of tape, increase the likely hood of them making it home.

Turn on the TV or radio, keep lights on and give them their favorite chew snack.

It's ok to comfort your scared dog, act happy and help them learn those noises won't hurt them.

There is a chance some of your local pet or feed stores are still open, so you can grab some calming supplements.

Kennels might be a great idea tonight, especially if your dog is a known escape artist.

Most importantly, drink responsibly. Your pet won't understand if you don't make it home ...

My dad lost his dog late last night in Grand Island, NE. She got spooked and got away from him, got hit by a car, and continued to run. He could not find her. If anyone has seen her or does see her, please reach out to me!

They were by Faidly Ave and Hwy 281
Grand Island, NE By Buffalo Wild Wings when she ran. Also near Candlewood Suites on Allen Dr.

My dad says there is a huge cornfield close to where Mara ran. He is worried she hid in the cornfield…

She answers to Mara. She is chipped and should have a PINK harness on.

I’m from Mississippi and my dad lives in Omaha, NE, so if anyone in the Grand Island area can share this, it’d be greatly appreciated!

She is in an unfamiliar area, possibly injured, cold, and scared. Please help us bring her home.

For the 4th of July, Levi and Paisley were hanging out at Doggie Day Care at Major League Kennels !!!

Where is that located and what about pet care services with Charlotte's Corner??!
All boarding and Doggie Day care services will be sent over to Major League Kennels(located in Grand Island, Ne) except for cats - the cat area is still under renovation.

There are huge play yards and spacious kennels for our Doggie friends! Highly recommend!

We will still offer Behavior Consulting services on a case by case basis, depending on my caseload as normal. But I will no longer be taking regular board or Doggie Day care clients out here in Dannebrog - again, I will be at Major League Kennels!

🐶Please share Doc!!🥰

Doc is a 5year old Bull Mastiff that is a giant tub of 💯 LOVE! UTD, neutered and microchipped.

Adores kids, is protective around new people (mainly men) but warms up quickly!

He is a snuggler, couch potato and the sweet boy you could ever meet. Loves other dogs and to play - does play a little rough though and needs guidance on appropriate play skills.

Cats were a no, but he is starting to settle with them through desensitization. So for the right family that is willing to work on it, Cats are a possibility. Livestock is a no, he is too rambunctious to safely live around them. Again though, for an experienced family that WILL work with him. It is possible.

Doc is kennel trained and very polite in his kennel. But does fine having free roam too.
He does know his basic commands and listens well, though he will need a strong had and work on his leash manners.

Recap:
🔹️Great with dogs, kids and most adults after meeting. Dog meet & greet required.

🔹️No cats or livestock - unless you are experienced and will continue training.

🔹️5 years old and will need preventative senior care. Up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped!

🔹️Looking for an experienced adopter for this handsome guy. 💞 Located in Central Nebraska
