Charli is absolutely thriving in her new foster home this week! We’re so proud of how far this sweet girl has come.

She’s meeting new people, making new dog friends, and enjoying all kinds of fun adventures! Charli is on medication to help with her anxiety (but hey, aren’t most of us?), and she’s doing so well. 💕

Laverne has been patiently waiting for over a year in foster care, and she’s so ready to find her furever home! This 60 lb queen just wants a comfy couch to nap on and a ball to chase (or play keep away 😆).

Laverne would do best as the only dog in the home — or with calm, submissive females who don’t mind sharing the spotlight. She bonds deeply with her people and would love nothing more than to be your loyal sidekick.

🇺🇸 This Veterans Day, we honor all who have served — and we’re reminded of the loyalty and devotion our rescue dogs show every day.

Roux, a 9-year-old sweetheart, embodies that same spirit. He’s patient, loyal, and full of heart — waiting for his furever family to come along.

As we thank our veterans for their service and sacrifice, let’s also give Roux the gift of a home — so he doesn’t spend his second Christmas in foster care. 🎄

Sarah arrived last weekend, and she’s so much fun! She is about 6 months old and still working on getting the hang of potty training, but has been doing great in the kennel. She loves attention, good with dogs and kids, and has the best happy wiggles!

We are raising money for the things that take a lot of abuse out here on the farm. We have four dog yards and we use the truck, trailer and van to pick up donations and supplies often. The mower and mower trailer have held strong for nearly 8 years. The truck, van and trailer have been life savers for about half of that. We make do with what we have.... Until we can't.

We were so incredibly lucky to have the truck and the mower trailer donated. The truck had been stolen and wrecked prior to donation but has served us well. We raised funds to buy the van and the big trailer. The trailer needs suspension and board repairs, the truck, van and mower are all on their very last leg.

Thank you once again for all of your support. We can’t do this without YOU!

One Paw at a Time

Rescue K-911 sprang from one woman's desire and passion to help animals in need. She started small, only being able to save a few animals at a time. Her favorites were/are the scared dogs hiding in a cage that never get a second glance. Bringing them into her home, showing them that they can trust and be loved, and witnessing their amazing transformations only added fuel to her fire! As her passion spread to others, they joined in her plight and the number of lives saved started to grow. With the dedication of fosters and volunteers, the non-profit has continued to steadily prosper, and each passing year, we save more!

Rescue K-911 believes that no matter what their size, shape, or story, all animals deserve the chance to live long, happy, and healthy lives. That’s why we work hard every day to be a lifeline to a better future for these pets. Because we know that with a little support, people and pets can build a bond unlike any other, creating happier lives for all involved. We know that each animal and family are unique and we pride ourselves on finding the right fit for the animal and the family!

Currently, Rescue K-911 is entirely foster based and volunteer run. Without the kindness and generosity of others, we would not be able to sustain our life-saving mission. Adoption fees for animals cover the standard care we provide each animal; vaccinations, prevention, spay/neuter, and microchips. Fundraisers like this one help cover the costs associated with unexpected medical costs when we take in a sick animal; labs, medications, dental surgeries, hospitalizations, etc. Those are the animals that need your help the most!
