One Paw at a Time
Rescue K-911 sprang from one woman's desire and passion to help animals in need. She started small, only being able to save a few animals at a time. Her favorites were/are the scared dogs hiding in a cage that never get a second glance. Bringing them into her home, showing them that they can trust and be loved, and witnessing their amazing transformations only added fuel to her fire! As her passion spread to others, they joined in her plight and the number of lives saved started to grow. With the dedication of fosters and volunteers, the non-profit has continued to steadily prosper, and each passing year, we save more!
Rescue K-911 believes that no matter what their size, shape, or story, all animals deserve the chance to live long, happy, and healthy lives. That’s why we work hard every day to be a lifeline to a better future for these pets. Because we know that with a little support, people and pets can build a bond unlike any other, creating happier lives for all involved. We know that each animal and family are unique and we pride ourselves on finding the right fit for the animal and the family!
Currently, Rescue K-911 is entirely foster based and volunteer run. Without the kindness and generosity of others, we would not be able to sustain our life-saving mission. Adoption fees for animals cover the standard care we provide each animal; vaccinations, prevention, spay/neuter, and microchips. Fundraisers like this one help cover the costs associated with unexpected medical costs when we take in a sick animal; labs, medications, dental surgeries, hospitalizations, etc. Those are the animals that need your help the most!
