Let’s talk about ✨ecollars✨

This is a topic that makes a lot of people feel uncomfortable talking about.

An ecollar is similar to a tens unit, it has 127 levels of stimulation. Pictured is a Mini Educator Ecollar. These are not shock collars. There is a huge difference.

The collar itself is made up of a receiver and an adjustable collar to fit your dogs neck. It should be fit snug so the contact points make contact with your dogs skin. If you have a longer coated dog, winged contact points would be a good option to make sure you have the contact. The remote has a tone (sound) option, a stim, a stim +5, and a dial up/down feature.

An ecollar is what I call an extension of my arm. This is how dogs gain off leash freedom, continue training and I know that they’re always getting clear communication.

Ecollars should be introduced properly and in the hands of a professional. It’s used as a training tool, it will not train your dog. 🐾
