He currently shares his home with two blind cats, a kitten home from college, an older dog, and teenagers and he LOVES all little kids that he meets!

Hart is a sweetheart who wants belly rubs! He loves to be with his friends and will turn into a limp noodle at adoptions when asked to go outside. He doesn’t MIND adventure, but he’s a homebody at heart! I’m sure that many of use can relate!
He is 7 months old and almost fully grown at 45 pounds.
He is housetrained.

One of our rescues from the other year was adopted by a family who foster for us and she LOVES to play with foster pups who come her way!
Can you believe that Rosie (formerly Dallas) came of us two years ago literally starving to death at 5 weeks old? Her owner told us that it was too much trouble to feed the puppies after momma weaned them so she and her siblings came to us emaciated and one of her brothers needed a blood transfusion. Now Rosie and her family give back by fostering other puppies in need.
Right now, we have two little 7 week olds (not these two though) who are in need of a foster home this week!

Ruger is working hard with training!
When he is not “working” he is playing all day with his foster siblings!
He is a fun loving, 45 pound beagle mix who loves toys and other dogs! Like LOVES toys! Anything is a toy!
He is active, playful, and super friendly. He is almost housetrained and has been doing well at his foster home. He is crate trained and quiet in the crate. He is goofy and just wants to play all the time. Oh and get pets. And snacks. And 2nd breakfast, tea time, elevenses, supper, and dinner. Once he finishes a meal, he looks around for the rest of it!
Ruger is learning some household manners like to not counter surf and to walk nicely on a leash. He has been doing well with training and now knows to not jump on others and to sit and wait for a treat. Its just HARRRDDDD to wait because he loves food and is sooooo energetic.
Because he is so strong and is a bit of a "bull in a china shop", we think that a home with out toddlers would be best simply because he does not always think when playing and can easily knock a small child over. He is not mean about it, but he is a puppy still and he just doesn't know any better. He seems to be just over one year old and has spent October through January in either Animal Control or a boarding kennel, so he is learning how to be a good house dog.

PETSMART ADOPTATHON WEEK!
Come and join our dogs at a special adoption event THIS FRIDAY at the Peachtree City Petsmart!
On Friday March 22nd, we will have a list of the dogs who will be able to attend!
Cats will be at Petsmart Adoptions 12-4pm on Saturday and Sunday as usual! Dogs will not be at Petsmart this Saturday, but will be back again on April 6th.

He is now good with cats, goats, and horses! He is learning lots of things like sitting on command and coming when called.

Violet is looking for her forever home!
She is an adorable 9 month old puppy who has grown up in a loving home. She is a playful and cuddly girl who loves to explore. Violet’s parents are both mixed breeds- we see lab, hound, pitbull, and other breeds in her and her siblings. It is hard for us to make a good guess, so any family should be prepared for a large breed adult mixed breed dog when full grown. She currently weighs about 38 pounds and we think that she will stay under 45 pounds when full grown.
Violet has grown up with kids, other dogs, and cats. She is learning housetraining and is doing well if taken out frequently. She LOVES to play, cuddle, explore, and play in her puppy pool. However, her favorite thing is to be involved with whatever her family is up to! Also naps, she likes to nap and get up when she is ready! Violet knows how to sit and wait for treats and we think that she will learn other tricks quickly.

Ripple playtime!
When she first came to live at her foster mom’s house, she was pretty shut down from her change. She did not like playing with her new foster brothers at all and only wanted to be next to her foster momma where she felt safe. She didn’t act like she had ever had toys because she didn’t know what to do with them. It took her some time to not be scared of every noise and to warm up to other dogs. Two weeks ago, she didn’t want to be a puppy and only wanted to sleep and to follow her person around the house. The only way she would eat is if she was sitting down next to her.
After only a week, she was back to being a normal playful puppy. Her foster mom said that “Ripple is doing amazing, she’s finally opened up and is playing non stop, eating better and is a happy puppy 😊”. Oh and she is ALMOST housetrained- she just doesn’t like going outside in the rain, but who does?
And now almost two weeks later look how well she is doing! But she needs a FOREVER home!

Little baby Fran had some fun with a new friend!
She still needs a forever home though! Every time we meet her we are surprised how small she has stayed at about three months old. So what breed do we think this little brindle girl is?
Who knows! We think that she will be a medium sized girl when she is full grown. Her favorite things are cuddling and playing. She LOVED to be held and snuggled!

Junebug, Ladybug, and Midge are three of 21 puppies who are in need of foster homes! And those are just the ones in our system.
We get multiple surrender requests daily and have to turn most away due to lack of space. Which, sadly, is true of every rescue in GA because so many dogs need homes. If you follow our page, you’ve heard this before and it is a never ending issue!
Ladybug and Junebug get spayed next week and will be able to go to new homes once they are healed. Midge has her spay scheduled for the 21st.

Meet Baron!!
He is a 5 month old shepherd/lab/boxer mix puppy who came to us at only a few weeks old with his siblings after they were found under a house without a mother.
He is sweet, gentle, curious, and quiet. He LOVES to snuggle! We are not sure of his breeds, but we think that he will reach about 35-40 pounds or so when full grown. Baron is housetrained and crate trained. She loves to sleep with his humans and go on walks around the neighborhood.
